Carrie Fisher is a member here but I cant reveal her name - she has an impressive WWF collection.

It's quite possible she put back the pounds right when filming wrapped. A couple Twitter photos ago she seemed to be thinner so maybe they captured that on screen.

It wouldn't make sense, plus Abrams originally wanted to push this back to next May, there's no way he wants to rush this now to get it out earlier. I've already accepted that the new film will be better than the prequels. But the only concerns I'm thinking about is:

1. Mark Hammil getting a respectable amount of screentime.
2. not being distracted by Carrie Fisher's looks
3. Harrison Ford not embarrassing himself or turning his performance into a parody of Han Solo

I would have preferred that Carrie Fisher preserved her slim, sexy, bouncing boobs Star Wars look that lives forever on blu-ray, but I guess we all have to grow up. Episode IV is still hot.

If you know that Carrie Fisher is a member here and you know her board name why would you not just send her a message instead of ragging on her weight in front of everyone? The woman is almost sixty years old, not sure how old you are but I would be willing to bet that you wont look as good at sixty as you do at 21, 24 and 27 like Carrie was on the original three films....

She did a lot of drinking and drugs when she was younger, and that ages people quickly no matter what genes you have.

That said though, very few women are able to pull off a Christie Brinkley and look as good in their sixties as they did three decades prior. In fact, its so rare that it's always surprising when it happens.

It's impossibly unfair to judge a woman for the negative affects of something nobody can control--time.

I don't expect her to look like 20-30 something Leia. I expect her to look like 60 something Leia because that is her age. I'm just very glad she didn't take the route SOOOOO many other women her age in Hollywood did, and get so much plastic surgery that they barely look anything like themselves.

So, Kudos to her.

A decision has been made to push the Italian release of TFA back from December 18, 2015 to January 5, 2016 in order to allow an Italian picture to open without having to compete with the new Star Wars film.A group of concerned Italian fans have created an online petition requesting that TFA be released in their country on December 18 of this year, as it will be throughout the rest of the world.

I think we can all take a few seconds to sign the petition to make sure that our friends in Italy are able to join us in seeing Star Wars: The Force Awakens right along with the rest of us on Opening Day this December. Let’s lend them a much-needed hand, shall we?

Supposedly JJ Abrams is fighting for a summer 2015 release!, I think its BS, but hey it could happen!
