While I wasn't that hungry, I did decide to come to Straw Hat now since their buffet starts at 11am. I could always go to Home Town later though

I like that HTB has Military Mondays.

The full word is mother. The American way to shorten it is mom, which keeps the first two letters. But in England it’s mum, which only keeps the first letter.

Wouldn’t it make more sense to keep the first two letters (since 2 is better than 1)?

In parts of England, the pronunciation of ma'am is mom...

I just saw the most adorable little girl. She must have been about 4 years old maybe. She had these little pink shoes on and this woman complimented them and asked if she could have them and the little girl shook her head no

And she was wearing this little blue beanie and she looked so precious

thinking about the person that died in the accident that caused the traffic i got caught in, this morning.

i sat there for over 2 hours. and when i saw a van go by that had "Mortuary Transport", i knew it was a very bad accident.

Good you're thinking about what's important. My dad can complain for an hour on how bad traffic is and sometimes I want to say (if it's because of an accident), "gee do you ever stop and think about the people that were in the accident? how do you think they feel?"

i saw an accident years ago where i saw the body lying in the middle of the interstate.

that's something you never want to see once....or again if you see it once. and i was just hoping i didn't have to see it again.

i know that sounds insensitive, but it's just something you never forget and hope you never see again.

and i can't imagine getting that call and someone telling you you've lost a family member in an accident (or any other way, for that matter).

Imagine driving in a separate vehicle from the rest of your family and watching them get into an accident. I read a story, probably on MSN, several months ago where a guy witnessed that. Or what about any emergency responder (firefighter, police, EMT) that arrives on a scene and finds out it's their own family member
