Anyone happen to see Twin Peaks at any Best Buys?

received one title from futurestop.ca dispatched via can post colis accéléré. avec tracking info, instructions of do not safe drop hand delivered by the mail man, greeted and thanks sent from 9200 airport road, Brampton, ON. recyclable 144105B cardboard mailer box packaging with stuffed paper was used. no damage to the steelbook purchased at $26.99 for the summit/seville/e0ne pictures release to the verge matte finish, full wrap around art work flat black rear, front has a some what silver/grey tone pending viewing angle sunshine in the sky, city limits interior. 2-disc set, tris(not trois) and four disc art digital copy code to share choose your faction, cheers temp tats included as well caution when removing J paper slip, 4 inch strip of glu on the rear

Unfortunately, I haven't been able to find any mention of it on the websites of Future Shop and Best Buy. I think it's pretty strange they've decided not to stock them :\

Is it a distributor based decision? Or perhaps is it FS and BB not seeing a "good market" for such a thing?

Me neither. I went the B&N route, using a 15% off code. I ended up paying the equivalent of $82 CAD plus taxes. I know it will be cheaper in a couple of months, but it's my favorite TV show of all time.

Is anyone else hoping and waiting to see if they do the $10 off pre-orders again? $5 is nice, but $10 really makes a difference. I’ve been keeping my eye out on the August flyers. If it was successful I don’t know why they wouldn’t do it again, but if they lost money or it was too overwhelming/too much trouble for them then I guess it’s not likely.

I don't really care as I won't be ordering anything as last year was such a gong show with them cancelling orders on release day or them taking a couple months to ship the blu-rays.

And anyways most of the blu-rays that I had ordered at Best Buy with the discount I was able to find them (some even a couple weeks after the release date) for the same price or cheaper than the price I was going to pay at Best Buy so the $10 discount doesn't even really matter unless you have to have a movie on release date (and Best Buy wasn't even shipping the pre-orders on release date last year anyways ).

I agree. 10 dollars off is more than 5 dollars off. That would be better.

I would say no. They haven't even done their old 15% off movies during the sales stretching back to a year now. I always use to check their sales to see which movies I could get for 15% off and that hasn't happened in a while. So the odds of them offering a pre order bonus is slim. What I am more geared towards is Cineplex. If they ever do what they did for Black Friday last year. So sweet.

instore purchased one title from futurestop $19.99 for the BBC release distributed by WHV in NA nice slipcover, glossy finish rear cut out for upc. circular earth D is a removable sticker, so is the fs decal. riddled with furry little guys, definitely rabbit approved cover matching disc art. big moose/elk in your face ad solid aq+pq 177mins duration. anyway, last pic is a bb email screen cap to share. still wonder if item will be honored or the CXL

Yeah I found my pre-order (which got backordered) in that 'special' could be found in store at the same price.

I pre-ordered a bunch last year and it was a nightmare with movies not being shipped. Some were bunched with later dates and would only ship in December, etc... It was terrible and I ended up cancelling most of the later ones once Cineplex came in and had that wicked Black Friday deal, followed by an even better deal during Boxing Week.

Hahaha yah yah I wrote it badly, I just meant when Future shop does their $5dollar off pre-order deal it was nice, but I'm hoping Best Buy does the $10 again, not just $5 (of course) and they don't cheap out if they're gonna do it.

Hell yah I hope they do that again. And boxing week was 50% off which was also a similarly amazing deal considering Cineplex made it store wide and didn't only include the latest movies from WB and Fox like most stores get.

I don't understand why Spider-Man 2 is $32.99 . I haven't seen a 3D new release above $29.99 for over a year and more (Lego Movie was more for only reasons WB know - but even on Amazon Lego Movie was $29.99). I'm not paying over $29.99 (I know it's 3 bucks, but no, I don't want to go back to paying more! lol) so I guess I'll wait on Spider-Man for now.
Unless that shop near me gets it in. They always seem to have select new releases, and for $10 cheaper on release day...then I'll get it.
