I'm working on a slipcover for Snow White (and a template for all other Disney movies I'll make a slipcover for) and I was wondering if you guys could give me some feedback.
![]() - Which spine do you like better? Left or right? - What would you do differently with the back cover? I do want all that text on it (especially all the bonus content, I want complete coverage to make it easy to look up a specific feature) and want to stick to sketches and concept art. I'm just not sure if it works like this. Last edited by waaimasjien.; 12-29-2012 at 11:42 AM. |

I don't see the point of slips if they just mirror the actual cover - they should be different. The idea of using original vintage poster designs and concept sketches will make a full collection look very classy. I prefer the spine on the right - the Mickey Mouse is a cute touch. I've never fancied printing off custom slips but I would like this and the future ones if they all sync together well. Good luck. |

I would say that I too prefer the spine on the right... And I can't help asking myself if the face of snow white is really necessary... Specs and bonus materials listing are important! And I definitely prefer covers that provide them so I'd suggest to keep them here and I assure you, everything works the way you put it! In final word, it's a winner! And I'm looking forward to see what you will come up with for the other movies ![]() |

Now that I have a vacation from Cover work I can relax and do.... some Cover work!
Obviously based on the artwork for the first two films that first appeared on the Japanese steelbooks. There wasn't a matching poster for the final film so I decided to make one. I generally don't do "minimalist" covers, so I guess this is as close as I'll ever get. ![]() ![]() ![]() These are available over PMs. |

The monochrome designs were a brave decision and I feel the UK versions are a copout, so we'll have to disagree. BTW, Would you please remember to spoilertag images when quoting? Last edited by Nissen; 12-29-2012 at 07:02 PM. |
