What's the secret ? I had never done the raid until tonight and got all the way to Crota but couldn't kill him. Any videos or tips , would appreciate. Or play from my checkpoint

Another week, another coin/mat drop for nightfall and weekly

The arc burn made this strike pretty interesting! Almost all enemies did arc damage. Fun times!

32 Sword helps. Just rocket the big guy down and swing away.

1st Nightfall I got a Legendary Engram and got 2 Shards out of it. RNG corrected itself and gave me a 4th Gjallarhorn on the 2nd Nightfall. That will be kept on display to rub it Omega's face

Got the chest piece for my Warlock. Now I need to get the final piece for my Titan and I'll have 3 Level 32 characters. Hardest part is getting lots of Radiant Shards.

I'm sorry, but it's not that simple...or we're doing something seriously wrong.

We had three guys, 31-32 rocketing Crota, and he went down after a couple seconds. The problem was we only got two swings at him before he's back up, and with minimal damage (32 sword bearer). It really is simple. Sword guy jumps the rock left side. When he says ready, he should straight away jump and run towards crota as 3 guys shoot rockets. He will be going down as he gets there 3 hits and repeat!. Plus with 32 even with 2 hits each time. After first sword should be more then a quarter of his health gone unless your missing

From what I observed last night, swordbearer must be 32 in order to get it done quickly. I think another Ghorn would have helped us last night as we only had 1. Lvl and equipment seem the key.

Thank you to Blu-Benny, Stuck, SDG and KenKeith from here. I had fun last night raiding with you guys. Next time I won't be as derpy with the sword now that I know a bit more about using it. Like knowing when to run from Crota!

Ended up getting another chest piece for my Titan with a little better stats to even him out and a few energies and shards.

thank gawd we finally took him down.

still can't believe how fast the deathsinger went down after the trouble we had the 1st time we tried to beat her.

i got energies, shards, boots, and gloves......broke down the glvoes and boots for more shards since i already had them.

was able to finish off my chest piece w/the shards i got. i have 3 bubbles to go on my boots now.....so 21 shards....i've got 4 waiting for me and 2 more i can get from the 1st chest w/my hunter.

then i have to decide if i want to get 21 more shards for my raid helmet.
