Did you not hear the news about Sony filing a patent for a PS3 usb adapter for backwards compatability?

Really though I don't understand why some people get butt hurt over every PS3 model not having backwards compatability built in. I have the 60GB PS3 and have played maybe at the most 2 PS2 games on it. Simply put playing PS2 games on backwards compatabile PS3 SUCKS ass.

Though it was hard to get a great sense of the visual fidelity due to the game being shown on a projector, it looked quite good for being half-decade old PlayStation 2 title.

Must be a crappy projector if you can't tell the texture increase.

Good to hear they are upping the textures as well. Would be sweet if they went to 60fps.

They said they were going to lock it in at 30fps.

No 1080p yet, but we can hope. And after last night I am thanking God I have a 3D TV!! Think The Last Guardian will also be 3D?

I guess so, but they said "full HD support", so I'm assuming the collection will be in 1080p.

Either way, this is a must have on my collection. Both ICO and SotC look amazing on the PS3.

This is gonna be insane, i already have both games for PS2, but I will gadly buy them again for PS3 with better graphics and Trophies.

Haven't played these two games yet since I was the busiest with my college during the PS2 era. I'm glad to see these coming in HD remakes. I must admit, it is a little hard for me to go to PS2/Wii graphics on an HDTV.

The physics and animation engine would need a complete overhaul for 60fps so they didn't do it.
