Yeah this has always been a slight fave of mine too.

In recent years i listen to my films with headphones, which are studio monitors, so they dont colour the sound, what you put through them is what you get. I know this movie isnt mono, but for example unfortunately with some mono tracks they can be abit harsh on the ears, or shrill etc, but i can remember being quite pleasantly surprised with the audio on this Blu-Ray, it was pretty solid, full and weighty.

I really love this movie, it's a guilty pleasure for me. I think it is Keanu's best movie, at least until the John Wick series came along. I would love to have this as a 4k Blu-ray release, though I imagine that I will be waiting a long time for that to occur.

I watched it a couple of days ago, I absolutely love this film. It does need a 4K for sure...

That would be a waste of time

Has anybody compared the two discs yet? I know it's the same transfer, but the Warner's has a lower bitrate. It might matter and it might not, but I can't believe they omitted the original 4.0 track. It's going to be a sad day if my Fox disc ever craps out on me

I've seen both and from what I remember the transfers looked identical. I couldn't notice any differences. It was a while ago though.

Question: the UK WB release is 50GB, while the WB US release is 25GB. Does that make the UK release superior?

The FOX blu is the only disc that will not play on my OPPO 203. It freezes before it can display the menu screen. It plays fine on my Xbox One.

Just received the 3 movie Point Break/Swordfish/Executive Decision from BBY dot com. Surprised to get one with a slipcover after all this time. This packaging came out in 2012. No digital codes were included. Was only $12.99.

I would love to see a 4K Release but who exactly owns this movie? I thought it was Fox but now it’s WB?

Received and watched my blu ray yesterday. Man this would look fantastic in 4K HDR. Loved the movie, but the blu ray is dated looking.

Arguably Bigelow’s one true action movie. I like her prestige pictures, but I wonder if she’ll make anything this much sheer fun ever again.
