Kind of my feelings, as well. The lack of a better script was definitely the filmmakers' Achilles heel!

Did anyone else watch it thinking, "So, he's the new Superman?"

Anybody Have a audio glitch at around 53to 54 minute mark? Also again at the 1:03 to 1:04? it happened again twice in that minute. Received mine from amazon and in was the 2D disc in the 3D package. The dropouts weren't long not even a second but noticeable. Any help? thanks...

If anyone is questioning Henry Caville's acting chops, you should check out The Tudors. He's a great actor.

If you're referring to Luke Evans, he is Zeus in this film. Oddly enough, he was Apollo in Clash of The Titans - maybe that's what you're thinking of?

Either way, the whole bloody fight scene at the end is the highlight of the movie for me.

i thought it was decent 3d. it was cool and sometimes neat but it never wowed me. it came close a few times at the end. a sweet flick for sure but left me wanting something more. i have my 3d settings cranked (backlight 60brightness 48) and at times this seemed a bit too dark. my biggest issue is that 90% of the movie seems to take place indoors. anyway i dont regret buying it, but captain america is still the best conversion available.

This wasn't too bad. Mickey Rourke just keeps collecting a pay check. Solid fight scenes. Definitely a rental or when the price drops by $10 - $15. Nice to see the future Superman in action

The rally cry speech was a bit cringe inducing. But the battle scenes, especially with the Gods, were jaw-droppingly awesomeness.

Freida Pinto was lookin' good. For those who have seen this, please tell me she didn't use a body double for a particular scene.

I know this came out on home video on Tuesday, but my Optonline isnt showing it OnDemand! What's going on? I was looking forward to watching this on my day off (and I dont blind buy)

When I hit the GUIDE button on my cable box, there's a rotaing banner ad that mentions all new features and movies OnDemand, and IMMORTALS is one of the ads ("Available now OnDemand. Also avaialble in 3D OnDemad").

BUT ITS NOT THERE.

I do see it is available in 3D OnDemand, but it is not in the SD or HD listings OnDemand.

What a bummer.

hate to break it to you, but that wasn't Freida - she's admitted it was a double.

Yup.

Lighting of the actors and the background didn't match for many of the scenes
and the black halo effect around objects and actors in front of CGI sticks out like a sore thumb on Blu-ray, Again a lighting issue.

The scenes and effects themselves were great but were done half ass
in mainly the lighting of the actors and greenscreen.

Watch 300 and then Immortals again.. you'll see the difference.

The scene in the boat where Poseidon created the storm was sheetrock pulverizingly awesome, as was the climatic battle at the end. I was surprised my house didn't collapse on top of me. I should check up on my homeowners policy.

All in all, a fun movie.
Agreed!!! Damn the LFE in this was nothing short of AMAZING. It literally opens up with a bang!!!

It was confirmed when the movie was in theaters that she used a body double.

I enjoyed the fact that I could watch the two alternate endings that were on there as well even though all three endings were terrible in my opinion. Else than that I felt like it was cookie cutter movie.

You guys seen this?

Is it just me or does the skin color and texture on the kids cheek look more natural in 3D?

Watched this last night and thought it was okay. Did not feel pulled into it as much as I had hoped. You could really see Tarsem's influence, a few times I felt like I was watching The Fall. Will give it a second watch in a few weeks - maybe my mood was not totally focued for a film like this last night. Oh, I do have to admit the scenes with the Gods fighting were pretty bad***.

Gonna watch this in twenty minutes.

If it's good, I buy the Blu-ray and rave about it in here.

If it's bad, of course I'm going to have to make fun of it in here as well (its only fair)

Oh, its ok to talk up a movie if it's good but not talk down a movie if its bad?

does anyone else having problems playing this. I have a "Samsung HT-C6930W" and the UK version. The disc works fine up to the point of playing the movie, where you just get a black screen. I have checked and my machine is upto date with the correct firmware (btw which is 2010).
