1. In some cases, SteelBooks are given a disc tray if the set has to house more than three discs; this was the case with the Alien Anthology SteelBook that was released by Play last month. 2. Whether I read it or not (and I did), I'd still comment about the absence of artwork on the SteelBook's page in the Blu-ray database as there was no artwork there when it was first put up. I don't understand your logic, lol. Last edited by Rocky01542; 07-14-2012 at 03:45 PM. |

That was a G1 steel though. G2 steels can hold a max of 4 discs. Any more than that and they have to go Jumbo G2.

I am well aware that more than 3 disc hubs can be BUILT in during production, but that was not the point I was making. |

I've taken the details from the French blu-ray set, which from what I can see, doesn't consider either AVPs as canon anymore.

I'll be honest. I much prefer to buy individual steelbooks for a franchise rather than a box set version even if they are more expensive on average but what swung it with Aliens quadriology was the fact the artwork looked good. I preffered it a little to the stand alone release artworks i seen so far for the MM editions.
Prometheus looks amazing though as a stand alone steelbook. I can only hope Play.com get individual steelbooks sometime down the line or even HMV. I'd buy the seperate versions then i guess assuming the artwork is good |

The films last 20 minutes are a really crapfest but this has to be bought due to Ridley Scoots input on bd extras. His commentaries are excellent and the features are superb.
I've watched the extras on black hawk down more then the film itself. |

Against my better judgement, I've pre-ordered the steelbook.
Also got a ticket last night for an all nighter Prometheus, Alien, Aliens, Alien 3 and Resurrection event at my local indie cinema for next month. ![]() |
