Probably not until the inevitable reboot is released.

Last I heard was Jurassic World's Colin Trevorrow was writing it with his partner Derek Connolly. Considering Trevorrow is now prepping Star Wars: Episode IX and Connolly is re-writing Kong: Skull Island, it might take a very long time indeed.

One of my favourites!

Timetravel (sort of), aliens and spaceships, 80 CGI and Pee-wee Herman. Can’t go wrong with these.

I always loved FotN and had the original BD and then replaced it with the steelbook but have pre-ordered this....a new scan is very much welcomed and hopefully 5.1 sound to go with it.

Look forward to the new release. The original blu-ray was miles ahead in quality of what Cinema Club put out so this could be interesting. Also I'll be interested to see how many of the original cast they get back to take part in the documentary.

I haven't read the whole thread, but if Flight of the Navigator has been remastered into 4k. Is there any chance of a UHD coming too?

I guess Cliff DeYoung was too busy to take part in the extras. A shame, oh well.

For sure they will talk about the ship and early CGI.

The 28th July was a mistake when announced.

Just pre-ordered from Second Sight's website. With shipping, it came to $53 (Canadian). A LOT more than I would ever spend on a single film, but I have to make an exception for one of my all-time childhood favorites. I'm very much looking forward to watching this in HD. Has anyone heard anything in regards to the audio for this release? The site touts a new scan, but fails to mention anything about the sound.
