After reading the posts, I had to buy "Batman Begins" and "The Dark Knight" again, but the SteelBook versions. I must say, they're quite beautiful! Maybe I would have liked a different picture for TDK, but it look great nonetheless! And I got 2 x $5 tickets for TDKR, so I'll go see it again with my girlfriend.

Looking forward to this! I really hope the producers pay some sort of tribute to the people lost in the horrible theatre shooting.

The dialogue was really quiet, but Bane's dialogue was really loud.

But his "with no survivors" was changed. It was a lot creepier in the original prologue.
Bane's dialogue also has this very weird echo effect which is just flat out odd at times - saw this a second time and in a couple of scenes with him talking I still didn't make out what he was saying (He sounds like 'Legend's' Darkness with a muzzle ). The Dolby Digital 5.1 mix I heard when compared to the IMAX 5.0 15/70 presentation I saw (heard) - seemed a little better, but still the bass and the fact that the mix is so front heavy, the mix is too bombastic and ultimately feels like a rush job.

It's out December 07, 2012. Not the 9th. I just don't know how to change the threat name to 07.

I saw the Prologue on his voice in he movie was way different. You couldnt understand anything he said when i saw it infront of MI4. Im pretty sure if you couldnt understand Bane in the first 5 mins of the movie then you wouldnt understand him for the rest of it. He must have went back and changed alot. If you watch the preview even when he says "Youre punishment must be more severe" It sounds different in the movie then the trailer. Me personally why would i want the cut of a movie that you cant understand? Makes no sense.

Phenomenal movie. Needs to come out tomorrow.

You know how there's that one movie that everyone tells you is so great and you never believe them? I knew this movie was going to be good...but I'm shocked that it beat The Dark Knight in greatness.

A shame the box office doesn't agree with you!
I can't wait to get this and watch all three in one sitting!

Well, the only minus is that the Joker is clearly the best villain in the batman universe and watching Heath Ledger is just...phenomenal. It's one of the best performances I've ever seen.

Definitely agree! Short of the muffled audio from Bane, I heard Hardy was pretty good. Obviously not Heath Ledger brilliant, but pretty solid in the role of Bane.
I'm sure when I finally get to see this, I'll be drawn into the world of Gotham City and blown away by it...and for that I tip my hat to Nolan and his cast/crew.

How to Train Your Dragon was the first Friday release that I can recall. Some others followed suit.

I can back this 12/7 date up... because I was the one who reported it as a thread first in the Wish List forums because it's not officially confirmed, and figured this thread could be moved to the North America section once it was, and would have already had pages of good discussions.

While people are creating threads after me based on what I post, and talking about Friday releases...

MIB III - Friday, November 30th, 2012

The Amazing Spider-Man - Friday, November 9th, 2012

Glad to keep you guys informed

Because it's the old hype.

The new hype is create the thread with a rumored date weeks BEFORE it hits theaters.

I agree. I'm just going by what both film did box office wise in their equal runs. TDK has outpaced TDKR to date.
As for the shooting...I was glad to hear Bale went to visit the victims families, and wounded in the hospital. A very generous move on his part!
