Pretty stoked, I got an email from Sideshow telling me that the Lt. Gordon SWAT version I had been on the waitlist for is going to be converted to an actual order Monday. So I should be getting him pretty soon. It'll be my first Hot Toys figure (have others on order but won't be getting them for a while) so I'm kind of excited.

Congratulations on your first of many HT orders...

Do you collect sixth scale exclusively?

Just starting out my collection. I'm going to stick with sixth scale stuff for now I think. I've never really been big on statues or busts or anything like that and the fourth scale stuff seems almost too big to me. The stuff I've seen from Hot Toys though is just damn impressive. They're expensive but seem like cool display pieces for my favorite movies.

I'm sticking to Nolan Batman stuff for now too. I've got The Dark Knight Rises Bruce Wayne/Batman DX, The Joker 2.0 DX, and Catwoman all on pre-order from Sideshow. I hear Hot Toys sometimes has delays though so who knows if I'll actually get them when they say they're being released. I'd like to eventually have most of the main characters from the Nolan films and possibly the Batpod. I am sort of tempted to get the Raiders of the Lost Ark DX Indy too and maybe The Empire Strikes Back Luke Skywalker DX at some point too.

I picked up the DX version of Indiana Jones and Superman when I was in Thailand two weeks ago at a boutique shop. These are beautiful and because I spent so much at the Boomerang video store, I got Priscilla & Rango vinyl collectables set by Hot Toys for free!!!

I'll post pics later tonight and now to add a couple to the collection.

Indy gets ragged on quite a bit, but I still like him a lot. With the right adjustment to the PERS he looks really good.

Apparently some DX12's will be shipping in the next 30 days with the rest in December. I ordered early, so I'm hoping I'm one of the early shipments. Been a long time since I got a new Hot Toy, gotta feed the monkey.

I bought the Chris Reeve Superman awhile back, and the resemblance is frighteningly life-like...HT does superb work, I've been waiting for this Version of Supes(Chris R.) for a looong time! love the Yellow \S/ Shield on the cape, waiting FOREVER for that to be incorporated back into the outfit, I hate the lazyness of those who leave it off.

I don't really think that's laziness, more so just an artistic choice depending on whose design it is. When the character was introduced he didn't have the shield on the cape, it was added some time later.

I used to dislike when they left it off too, but now I actually prefer the plain red cape. It looks cleaner to me.

The Reeve Supes is what got me into collecting Hot Toys (and I just ordered my first Enterbay figure) and hemorrhaging cash Despite not being one of their DX's, he's still one if their most striking figures.

It's just that I've heard oft times that the production team choose to leave the Red Cape plain due to the distorted effect that the flapping cape has on the yellow \S/ and the compensation(financial and/or effortwise) of that movement if the cape is not a fabric, but a CGI effect or cel-based cartoon...I mean, I personaly would prefer it on the cape instead of his Belt Buckle.BTW-Hot Toys 89' BATMAN is a prize piece as well.

Yeah, the belt buckle symbol in Returns was super lame. It would've been a lot cooler costume without that.

I like my '89 Bats quite a bit. The cape is a bit of a challenge, but it's probably one of the best figures HT has done to date. I was never a HUGE fan of the '89 movie, but the figure was too cool to pass up.

Yah, HT 89' BATs was a solid figure, with soo many little extra pieces/accessories...too bad their BatMobile was OUTRAGEOUSLY Expensive, cause it also was a beautifully detailed piece.
