i think im just gonna ballock up in a few days and order zombieland and man on fire and fight club.....ebay is outrageous, people over bid hardcore on those 3 titles compared to what i can get them on zavvi for i just hope im lucky enough to have it get to me w/o no damage from the paper thing packaging.

Ordered Armageddon and bad boys a week ago arrived today. While price is great and shipping speed was great too bad boys came in good shape however there was some denting on the side of Armageddon those cardboard envelopes are atrocious for shipping steelbooks. Supposedly new packaging will be in place by the time roger rabbit ships I really do hope so because I have it on preorder. I know personally if the packaging improves ill probably order almost all of the other steels they have available.

Just received 3 of my several orders from Zavvi.com. Two arrived in the cardboard envelopes in perfect condition, while the third arrived in a bubble envelope and had clear damage (a nice visible dent on the opening side with paint scuffing).

I received 2 orders from Zavvi, also both in the cardboard envelopes, both were miraculously undamaged. I have to say though I received them really fast, Goldeneye in 4 days and Universal Soldier in 5 days. They were coming to Atlanta, I placed a order for 3 Steelbooks, and it was only £0.99 to ship all 3, 1 is a pre-order. I hope the rumored improved Steelbook packaging comes really soon.

.99 for all 3 combined? AND in seperate shipments? nice i always order 1 thing at a time from the uk to avoid custom tax, idk the max weight allowed though for sure.

you are in USA , you can order 20-30-50 and have never seen a bill from customs. Zavii doesnt use UPS so no worries there

Zavvi have confused me - Their A-Team steelbook was "released" on Feb 18th and yet I was sent my "dispatched" email on Feb 8th.
I enquired about this and they,again,confirmed it was shipped on Feb 8th.
Not here as yet either

i orderd 2 man on fire steelbooks one shiped week ago one hasnt i contaced them they said it hasnt been released yet but one shiped and i got it all ready as long as they dont over charge me and i get them im happy mint

I had to reactive an old email account, just so they stop spamming me with 'sorry, your order is on its way' BS... that blu-ray does not come out until end of next month.

Finally received the 2nd Black Hawk Down I had ordered - both in the same order, but I received one of them almost 2 weeks ago) - again shipping in the cardboard mailer/sleeve. Thought everything looked okay. However, just happened to pick this up and look at it again and, alas, there is a very "nice" dent at the top of the front cover.

Emailed them to see what my options are. Very unfortunate as the first one came dent/ding-free, but had/has a loose disc. I guess this is now the better of the 2 to keep

Guess I need to strongly reconsider the other pre-orders I have (Roger Rabbit and Star Trek) - too bad these are exclusives to them and not available anywhere else

bro don't worry about that email. it means zero. ziltch. nada.

if you want the steel, don't cancel. they are just saying that they don't have it in stock to send off to you yet.

zavvi has a program that autosends those, even on pre-orders, which, of course, is pointless.

Thanks for clearing that up. I did email them about it so I am curious what their response will be.
