All three are pretty close contenders imo. I'd show off Samsara just to freak everybody out with that guy who smeared clay all over his face, the Japanese sex doll scenes, the robot dude, and the Filipino prison dancers.

I know that these kind of opinions take hits, but I felt the same way.

The Wizard of Oz (1939) Beautifully restored on Blu-Ray, a true classic for all ages.

It depends on the person. If I absolutely wanted to show off my favorite movies, I'd do either Truman Show or Pulp Fiction. If I wanted to do a movie to act as a "demo" for Blu-Ray I'd go Avatar or Up.

I can see this being a pick, seeing as the person at your house has not see pretty much any movie. The magic of Oz is something everyone should see...but...but I don't own it.

Redline (anime) for combination of visuals, a kicking reference level surround audio track, and crazy/zany plot and story well executed...

I would have to say Lord of the rings extended edition, followed closely by Lawrence of Arabia.

I've still yet to see that and keep sitting on the fence of picking it up for 30 bucks.
