Anchorman/Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues (2-Pack) (Walmart Exclusive)

Went to one of the Wal-Marts near me (Hanover, MD near Arundel Mills), and sure enough, there were two copies sitting there. Snagged one without thinking twice (plus bought The Chipmunk Adventure as a surprise for my gf, who had no idea it was out on Blu-ray).

Between snagging the thought-to-be-out-of-print Hobbit Unexpected Journey Extended 3D steelbook and Thor: The Dark World steelbook on top of the before-street-date Anchorman 1&2 steelbook... I'd say this was a pretty good weekend

I haven't either. Looks like I might be going to the store tomorrow and grab a copy...ugggh!

It's definitely got a gloss to it... I thought it was just the plastic wrap, but once I took it off, it was still shiny The four character shots on the back are especially highly glossy, specifically the surrounding environments of the skies/buildings.

Also, as visible in the pics with the discs, the weird thing is that they put the two discs for Anchorman 2 on the side with the artwork for the original film and vice versa! Yeah, I rectified that after I took the pics My guess is that they wanted the newer film front and center when you first open it, but seriously... if you're buying a multi-film set, even if it's just two movies, put them in order!

Also, I gotta say, for $25, this is a pretty good deal. Especially if you don't have the first film on Blu-ray, as this has both Blu-ray discs from the "Rich Mahogany Edition" (the discs even maintain this moniker, as visible in the fourth pic) on top of the two blus for Anchorman 2. Of course, I'm keeping my old copy of the first film for the book and cards

No problem! Yeah, I went on a whim last night after seeing some of the pics on here and needed to grab a few things when most other places were closed. Only two copies were there, and they were behind a price tag for Wolf of Wall Street

Ironically, they still had the pre-order cards for AM2

Indeed! Still haven't had a chance to watch any of it yet though Only saw the PG-13 cut of AM2, so I need to catch up on both the "super sized" R rated cut and the unrated cut... can't think of any other movie that was released in three different ratings formats

Not cool Btw, ironically, I almost ended up at the Columbia Wal-Mart last night My gf actually works at one of the libraries up that way, so I tend to frequent that area a few times a month.

I called the local store to ask if they would have this at midnight.

The guy told me "We don't know what goes out until about 11:15. They don't tell us nothin'."

So, I guess I'll call about 11:30 and find out for sure. I'd hate to make a trip all the way across town at midnight for nothing.

Do they typically wait soo late to ship out online pre orders?
I pre ordered it back when it was first mentioned on here, and it still has not shipped yet.

Mine doesnt give me a cancel option anymore, but it also doesnt even give any indication its getting ready to ship either.
