I'm not sure if I should keep this or not. I ordered it on a whim and forgot about it. I was so unsure that I left it sealed. It's only one disk and I swear my original copy has at least two.

What is the average sale price for this on somewhere like ebay?

There was a Platinum Edition which had two Blu-rays. I picked that up not too long ago for a decent price. The only Platinum Edition I'm missing is Beauty & The Beast which is very expensive to get hold of now

I bought all the first editions. The Platinum range were great. In fact they show how far Disney have fallen in quality over the years. I was expecting the SB steelbook to be the best version but it doesnt beat my platinum edition.

I didn't own any Disney on Blu-ray until Snow White. I was always holding out for steelbooks. I only picked up Sleeping Beauty and Beauty & The Beast for the bonus Blu-ray discs. Snow White was already the original release

I've had to re-order this steelbook as the bottom corners of my copy have paint missing. My copy of Tarzan has paint chips on the front as well. The others were fine

In my experience when dealing with catalog releases (not just Disney either) the steelbook will never have the content that something like a platinum edition would have.

To me it seems like steelbooks are good for moving old stock.

On Blu-ray? I can't see that there was ever made one (at least not according to the DB here). There's a Diamond Edition that appears to start at a fortune and go upwards... Is it that one?

From memory aren't there only two platinum BDs - Sleeping Beauty and Pinocchio?

Yes, those are the only platinum editions, the rest are Diamond.

What other extra stuff are included in platinum editions, to me I purchase just to watch the actual movie and never really bothered looking through extras. I might have to start though.

This looks great, but would've been truly epic if Maleficent were embossed on the back as well.

The white box it was shipped in had the clear markings as if another very heavy box had been dumped, corner first, right onto the damaged part...

"As a gesture of goodwill we would like to offer a refund of 20%.
Please can you let us know if you are happy to accept this partial refund?"

Dear Zavvi! Let me answer that question with another question: "Are you drunk?"

I meant Diamond Edition. What I was trying to say that apart from Snow White, any of the titles released as steelbooks that had two Blu-ray discs in their original amaray release, are the ones I've double dipped on. I've managed to pick them up for good prices. I only bought those editions for the bonus disc, for everything else I've got the steelbooks

Although I'm a fan of Disney, apart from a few DVDs and the Snow White Blu-ray, I've not owned a lot of Disney as I've always been holding out for these steelbooks
