That pretty much sums it up. The leading lady, Michelle Mcgon...? Pretty much carries the movie, but there's enough to it to keep me involved. But that's not saying much since I'm pretty easily entertained. I'm laughing more during Spy, which I'm watching right now.

So was I. I thought the movie was awful and I was not at all impressed with the video quality. The 3D was just average to me.

Pretty much.

Nostalgia over-rode all of that for me. The 1982 arcade scenes were really fun to watch.

Is the 3D release $16.99 at Best Buy currently the cheapest?

Edit: Yes looks like it is.

Wow, that was fast...I got this at BB for $22, like 10 days ago.

Do they have a price drop program where you can get the difference back within 2 weeks?

Just to be clear, for the UK release, only the 2D disc has Auro3D?

Picked this up since it's on sale at BB. I actually enjoyed it. It wasn't great but it was fun seeing all the old school video games in action. Plus, the 3D was great and the soundtrack was good too. Cheap Trick's "Surrender" can make anything watchable! Surprisingly, the weakest part for me was Peter Dinklage. His character should have been funny but just came off as annoying. He's usually solid too.

Pretty much my same opinion. Solid 3D, the old school video games carry the film so it's fun to watch throughout. Dinklage's character was annoying, not funny at all (Gad's character was also annoying but to a slightly lesser extent). No purchase regrets from me.

I didnt plan to buy this due to Sandler but some good comments here convinced me to try it. Like some one said teh 3D in this top notch and beats some of the best out there like Madmax, Jurassic world. Its almost of the caliber of Journey series if it were full screen. Anyway its surprisingly fun movie to watch.

When to BB to get my $6.50 price adjustment, you get 15 days to come back.

Interested to try the 'game mode' feature on 2D version as well, where you fight aliens using your phone/tablet while running the movie.

Not sure if this was mentioned, but Sony Rewards is offering 500 bonus points when you enter the Pixels UV code into your Sony Rewards account.

Offer is good for 1 more week.

This came out in the UK yesterday, finally got to watch it in 3D and wow it looks absolutely great throughout. Really gorgeous effective 3D, loads of layers, pop outs, depth and black bar breaking all through the movie! This is definitely a movie that is vastly improved in 3D and there's no way i'd ever want to watch it in 2D again. I actually enjoyed it a lot more second time round, but the real selling point here is the fantastic FX all in amazing 3D.

The 3D is definitely one of the best presentations of the year, it utilises all aspects of 3D to really fun effect and it enhances the movie greatly, turning an average movie into something a lot more fun during the fx/ action scenes.
