Interesting to see TV (Game of Thrones) do 60% on BD. I really like GoT but not sure that I would want to watch again (on disc II now via Netflix).

I stopped watching during season 3. Was getting too complicated keeping track of all the people and where they come from.

It can get a bit much but the quality of the show is top notch for me. Did you watch Hannibal? It looks great on Blu-Ray.

Have not, sorry. For me, most TV series of the last several years have not been watchable.

There are exceptions: HBO - Game of Thrones, Boardwalk Empire, Deadwood, Oz and The Sopranos. Showtime - Dexter. Most of these via Blu-ray.

Broadcast: CBS Network about five weekly shows that I edit before watching.

PBS: Fair amount of PBS, i.e., Nature, Nova, Secrets of the Dead, American Experience, Masterpiece and Masterpiece Mystery. Just finished Downton Abbey, just started Grantchester and Mr. Selfridge. I receive PBS programming direct from PBS via AMC-21 satellite (the same way PBS affiliates do) so the quality is quite good.

Hannibal is a high quality show. You should give it a try. . I am quite fussy when it comes to tv. The only shows I have truly loved over the last few years are GOT, The Walking Dead, Hannibal, This is England, breaking bad and going further back Twin Peaks. Life on Mars, Ashes To Ashes was borderline excellent but I hear you guys got a rather poor remake with very little to recommend it.

It was probably too good for the masses. No reality tv stars or silly pretend drama masquerading as reality tv.
