Thought I'd share this story. Of course I made the switch to BLU without the full support of the wife. She just didn't see what the big deal was but slowly she started to notice the PQ and AQ upgrade from DVD. However last night I unintentionally showed her another reason why Blu-Ray was so great. We were watching Pearl Harbor (one of her favorites, don't ask me why) and about half way through she turned to me and said "Don't we have to switch to disc 2 soon?" She was so used to watching the 2 disc DVD version that she thought the BD version was the same. Of course I had to give her a quick tutorial on the specs and capabilities of a BD vs DVD.

I hope you also mentioned that the time saved from disc swapping meant more time for the freaky heat after the movie. when married, one must be on top of your game.

Yeah mine gets a bit testy about the subject. She likes watching them but hates knowing that I am spending money on them, espescially if I replace a DVD with a Blu. While I do get pretty annoyed at times, I appreciate having a little persuasion of moderation. Without her I could really go on quite a spending spree
