He didn't say he didn't like the movie, he said it cost too much.

Brad Bird in charge of an animated Ghostbusters, featuring the original characters ... That would get me into theatres.

That's like saying Ford isn't important for Indiana Jones, cause he wasn't the first choice either, it could have been Tom Seleck. Yet, it's Ford that made it work. Ghostbusters is not different.

For the record, I haven't seen the new Ghostbusters yet. But so far I have no problem with it and I do want to check it out.
have to agree - I'm a big fan of all the woman seperately so was a little pre-disposed to like the movie(though its nothing on the first, its still a good, entertaining movie for me).

Ghostbusters Animated Movie is Told From a Ghost’s Perspective

Quote:
Sony Animation’s Ghostbusters animated film unfolds from the perspective of a ghost, rather than the living and breathing Ghostbusters themselves. This is first significant plot detail for the developing project that has been publicly uncovered since the movie was first announced in 2016, with Clash of Clans short director Fletcher Moules onboard and calling the shots.

Sounds interesting.

I thought years ago the scene in GB2 would have been neat to see the ghosts in the train looking at Winston as they are going by.

Hopefully we'll hear more about this animated movie, or the live action movie, in the next year or two.

If I recall correctly, he really liked the 2016 film. Assuming that's correct, I don't miss him at all.
