Imagine a Disney version of Ghostbusters. If it receives the same tone and creative nonce as the MCU it would be fantastic. I do hope Disney buys Sony

I don't want to be the "not true" guy here, hehe, but I would say the main attraction of Ghostbusters ís the cast, it's what made the movie work and loved in the first place. You can argue not all of them were first choice to begin with, but that doesn't change anything in the end. That's like saying Ford isn't important for Indiana Jones, cause he wasn't the first choice either, it could have been Tom Seleck. Yet, it's Ford that made it work. Ghostbusters is not different.

For the record, I haven't seen the new Ghostbusters yet. But so far I have no problem with it and I do want to check it out.

have to agree - I'm a big fan of all the woman seperately so was a little pre-disposed to like the movie(though its nothing on the first, its still a good, entertaining movie for me).

Sony Animation’s Ghostbusters animated film unfolds from the perspective of a ghost, rather than the living and breathing Ghostbusters themselves. I thought years ago the scene in GB2 would have been neat to see the ghosts in the train looking at Winston as they are going by.

If I recall correctly, he really liked the 2016 film. Assuming that's correct, I don't miss him at all.
