Fantasy movies are the severely underrepresented on blu-ray it would sure be welcomed to see more such as beastmaster,The Barbarians ex. hell Red Sonja doesn't even have a U.S. release with the legions of Arnold fans I would think it would sell. please release something with Cynthia Rothrock. this line looks promising and I will be buying Black Eagle.

I'd love to see the No Retreat, No Surrender sequels as well as the spinoffs if possible. I'm basically in for any of those low budget martial arts flicks from the late 80's/early 90's that used to feature names like Cynthia Rothrock, Don "The Dragon" Wilson, Billy Blanks etc. This line could have a lot of potential in my opinion.

Are you guys just dealing with titles that have existing HD transfers or are you willing to do news ones for titles that are acquired?

I asked because I’m a huge fan of Jess Franco’s film FACELESS. This was released by Media Blasters/Shriek Show on DVD back in 2004, but needs a HD upgrade. Not sure if rights holder René Chateau Productions has an HD transfer for this ready, but it’s a worthwhile title. Plus it has some great turns from genre stalwarts Helmut Berger, Brigitte Lahaie, Caroline Munro, and Telly Savalas.

In some cases we have to work with the transfers given to us. With others we are overseeing the transfers. We have announcement coming of an 80's classic... (not Windrider... but a title I often refer to as "an early 80's cable staple") that the transfer was overseen by the AGFA / Drafthouse team. We are always looking to make sure we are releasing the best materials available to us.

I'll look into that Franco title. Worked on a lot of Franco stuff when I was at KL so it would be nice to revisit!
