Yeah, Stallone is definitely the draw for the show, but I don't know how long he's gonna stick with it, as he's expressed unhappiness at the workload and travel away from his home, due to his not being used to doing TV show work.

Stallone is the only draw because the other characters are thinly written and it feels like it's being written by someone who only understands the mob through mob movies. But Stallone would be stupid to throw this away like Costner threw away Yellowstone.

The Jelly Roll appearance was the most awkwardly placed and out of place thing I've seen on a TV show in a while.

He's the reason why the show moved to Georgia cause he hated working in Tulsa. He also requested that his daughter (who plays Spencer) have more screen time on the show.

Yeah, it sure was. It felt like that Tom Petty cameo in The Postman, in that it was awkward, distracting, and brought nothing to the table.

Yeah, that was definitely awkward and added nothing.

It was a nice surprise to see that guest (no spoilers), but it felt awkward how they spoke and all.

An okay episode I just don't see this show lasting too many seasons as the only actor holding it all together is Stallone, take him away and the show has nothing of value to offer.

Much as I like watching Stallone it's been a very rough season, so once it's over I don't think I'll watch season three if there is one.

I haven’t seen it since episode 3. I’m not very motivated to finish right now.

[Show spoiler]Somehow the death of the Chinese mafia was underwhelming, just like the Biker gang from Season 1.
This season is over and I reckon that's it for me, not gonna bother with S3 it's just too corny, cheesy, and low quality.

Oh, it felt like a season finale. Thanks.

These days seasons end with 9~10 episodes.

Is it worth starting it if I have never seen it though??

It's nowhere near as good as the Sopranos or even Ray Donovan, so you'd really have to really enjoy watching Stallone to make it through it all.

I watched season two's final episode and I'm just done with it, I can't be bothered with another crappy season.

Spoiler 1
[Show spoiler]Season two's Chinese gang death was just as underwhelming as season one's biker gang. They made it look like it'd be something exciting... Nope, they're dead and that's it.

Spoiler 2 from S2E10
[Show spoiler]Chickie (Domenick Lombardozzi) was killed in this episode and his death was just so stupid and pointless. It felt more like a video game where characters have no value than a live television show.

Anyway, I thought Tatiana Zappardino was of Portuguese ancestry and she may have such DNA, but her surname is undoubtedly Italian, she's certainly a Southern Italian than a Northern one.

The season finale sucked.

What was with all of the pointless scenes of the supporting characters hanging out at the pot shop and the car dealership? Reminds me of the terrible episodes in the middle of the second season of Twin Peaks.

Yeah, Season 2 was pretty disappointing. It had a few decent moments, but it mostly meandered. The cliffhanger was lame. If it gets renewed, I’ll still watch season 3 because I like Stallone. I just hope they can create some real stakes with a stronger story. I’m glad
[Show spoiler] Chickie got his brains blown out. His character was worthless. I agree that the Chinese mafia resolution felt rushed and anticlimactic. The tomahawk on the head of the main bad guy was cool though.

Season 1 was great as Stallone was a fish outta of water and could drive the comedy and drama. Season 2 just sucked and he was in the background more and worse it was boring.

Season 1 actually filmed in Tulsa.
Season 2 did not.

Coincidence? Probably, but still...

Seems like the acting of most of the cast got worse. I usually like Garrett Hedlund and Annabella Sciorra but their acting was lackluster this season.

I saw a Stallone video where he said it got renewed for Season 3 and Season 4.
