FYE unless you don't mind buying used or waiting months for rebates.. even those are overpriced 95% of the time. Plus by the time you get you're rebate (if you ever do) you always find it cheaper two weeks later.

Almost completely irrelevant?

I hate FYE. Went in there to buy some Paramount BDs during the format wars and this clerk tried 5 times to register me for some club. Not to mention they charge more than almost anyone else.

The mall is the worst place to buy anything due to overpricing but they have what you're looking for sometimes.

Bestbuy, Circuit City, Target, etc. are only good during the holidays when they have specials. IMO, Ebay is the best place to shop.

FYE, (formerly wherehouse) always the worst place to buy any media, be it music or movies.
Always such a high price. Rare to have good sales.

Well going by the poll choices, i'll go with CC. Thier media prices always suck. But I would go there to buy a BD (if I was getting it local) over Borders, Suncoast, Barns & Nobel, Toys R Us, and Blockbuster.

My local Blockbuster started carrying new releases on BD and of course their $39.99 and new DVD releases at $22.99

Suncoast is the worst. New blu-ray are $29.99 or more. Even used blu-ray are $20+.

Angry Future Shop

In Vancouver, Canada the worst place I have found near where I live is the Future Shop (who are owned now by Best Buy). What gets me is they seem to have no respect for the format yet. They get in a handful of the new titles and their website information is always wrong.

I went to pick up Unbreakable in Blu-Ray and found they received a grand total of three copies and *might* get more in a few weeks. They have the discs in a small row, mismatched, titles everywhere that no one ever cleans. It's impossible to find a title half the time.
