But it did not rip off Crash. Crash already ripped off Amores which came out in 2000. I am just pointing out that the director of Babel already did the same type of movie (about a car crash no less) long before Crash came out.

Babel was brilliantly done and IMO says a lot about our current society and attitudes. The separate stories although seemingly totally separate, do mesh into each other. It's certainly not an action movie but more of a study of human character. I liked it.
