IF there is a Catwoman...my vote goes to Sarah Michelle Gellar.

As much of a b!t(# she is in real life, I must admit, she does villainy (Cruel Intentions, All My Children) an butt-kickin (Buffy) like no one else.

I cringe at the thought of Angelina Jolie as Catwoman. I'm bored of seeing all roles of this type going to her.

Glover would be a terrible choice because you have to be able to act to carry the Riddler character...and Glover can-not act...

the only rumor that is valid is the Depp as Riddler rumor....Jolie might actually be going after the Catwoman role....but there will be no Penguin...

I'm a huge Sarah Michelle Gellar fan. She's actually my favorite actress (mostly due to Buffy), but I'm not sure I see her as fitting that Catwoman mold, but then again she could surprise us.

I think she's been underrated. She was astounding mixing comedy and drama in Buffy, and Cruel Intentions showed how much of a ***** she can be, but the girl needs to fire her agent. Her latest string of movies (Southland Tales, The Air I Breathe, Scooby Doo 1 and 2, The Return, Suburban Girl, The Grudge 1 and 2) have ALL blown HARD. What's even more frustrating is that she turned down the lead role of STARDUST, a GOOD FILM, only to keep starring in absolute crap. If I hadn't seen her great acting on Buffy, I would seriously think she was a bad actress. And it pains me to say that because I'm such a big fan of hers that I'm almost overly defensive when someone disses her, but I'm quite frustrated with her piss-poor film choices which has wasted her talent.

I could see Megan Fox doing a Catwoman--she definitely looks the part. I still say no for Angelina Jolie and a far too obvious choice. It's just really sad that Halle Berry's butchered Catwoman performance has really ruined the character in the mind's of so many people. I don't care what anyone thinks about Burton's Batman films, I thought Michelle Pfieffer did a great job as Catwoman. Though I do enjoy that Nolan has decided to go for a more realistic approach with his new Batman series. If he does decide to include Catwoman at some point, I think it'd be interesting to see how he'd include her in his realistic setting.

Regardless of who the villain is for the next film, if there is one, I'd like to think they'd have a nice female lead to give some balance and contrast, especially since Rachel won't be in the next film. There needs to be a woman there for Bruce, whether she's a new romantic interest, or an interesting villainess. Just my opinion.

I think Depp would be a great Riddler, i could even see him continuing on Joker (but no one could play it like Ledger, so im glad Joker wont be in sequel)... I imagine that Christian Bale and Johnny Depp may have spoken about the role while filming their new movie or along that line it came up..

I do LOVE SMG, but I agree with everything else you said. Megan Fox definitely looks like a Catwoman, but I haven't seen enough of her material to know whether or not she's a good actress. She was decent in Transformers, but her role didn't require much talent either. I definitely agree about Michelle Pfeiffer, though. Beauty and talent made for a kick-ass version of Catwoman. I think she's 50 now, and she still looks damn good.

you know i wouldn't say it was Halle Berry's fault for the way the film turned out to be aweful. I mainly blame WB for hiring the retard to write the script, and the dumb director for how the film ended up to suck so much.

you are definitely right about that, but SMG or even Angie aren't a good choice for the part, they are definitely better than Megan Fox, but the part shouldn't be given to them. I think they should Michelle Pfiffer back to play the role again, or Keira Knightly if they wanted the character to be young.

1.) Youngish actor gettin cred in the year before his casting.
2.) Was credited for making his breakout role (Brokeback Mountain) a hit.
3.) Got an Oscar nod or some serious award cache with said above part.

Right now on the map, the only one on the map really for me...and my choice for The Riddler(and don't throw things at me), the soon to be nominated for Best Supporting Actor at next year's Academy Awards, for the movie Frost/Nixon, your next Riddler, your next Edward Nigma.....Michael Sheen. Mark down..the guy is not a commodity to any extent in the USA right now (Except for the fact he got some Kate Beckinsale in the day, he was Tony Blair...and he was in the gag inducing Underworld) and the guy is about to go on A LOT of radars after Frost/Nixon(great play by the way) is shoved down our throats this Holiday season as an "Award Prestige Movie." Mark it down...Micahel Sheen will be The Riddler in the next Batman Movie.


However, Christopher Nolan won't make another Bat movie......So there you go.

Now, if I made some more Bat movies, I would go with a Penguin/Talia/Deathstroke movie and cast the following in Batman 3

Penguin: Peter Dinklage(better than Hoffman, and looks the role already)
Talia Al Ghul: Natalie Portman
Slade Wilson: Terry O'Quinn

Didn't Goyer state that he and Nolan have discussed what they wanted to do in the next film? Why wouldn't Nolan do another one? He's too good all of a sudden? Wasn't he tied in for three like Bale?
