As do I, but if for some reason they decide not to give individual boxes I would like a case like die hard or planet earth. Granted, the Band of Brothers has an ok pull out for its disc. I hope Bourne is not that way.

It was with 100% certainty that it was coming in 2008. Bourne has been a confirmed release since June, it was never a possiblity but confirmed. The street date was finalized in late August but under embargo until an undetermined period.
Obviously we're all talking to different people and have been getting different sides of the same story. Suffice to say it's a little more complicated than that, and the needs of the few often outweigh the needs of the many in Hollywood, and everything is fluid until it's locked in when it comes to catalog titles. Titles get bumped forward, bumped back, and bumped sideways all the time.

The Bourne trilogy didn't just pop up, it has been planned for quite sometime. They didn't just pencil it in, it was planned for a November 2008 release, but delayed because of things most wouldn't want to accept.
Of course it didn't just pop up, but when you "pencil it in", it means that you want to do it, but you're not sure you're going to be able to. As far as the latter goes, Universal has obviously bent over backwards to make up for lost time and has done a fantastic job delivering great Blu-rays, but when you help make the bed, you've got to lie in it. and take your lumps just like Paramount is.

You do have good points, titles are moved all the time. Bourne has been pretty solid though, but I say we all just be happy we are getting them this soon.

It's a whimsical industry and I agree things change often, however in the case of Bourne it has been a firm release for a few months now. Not everyone knew about this release, so the people you are in contact with were possibly unaware of it. I'm just glad it's coming to Blu-ray. It's going to be an amazing release, I can't wait!

Same here!

I'm also hoping that Amazon sales this for AT LEAST 45% off... as I'm VERY disappointed in the price tag.

The pricing on the BOURNE COLLECTION makes no sense if you look at Universal's other box set, "The Ultimate Comedy Collection."

This set was priced at $89.99 ($30 for each of the 3 titles) and one of them, FORGETTING SARAH MARSHALL, was a new release which is not the case with the Bourne set.

So why would Universal put a $120 MSRP on this set?
