Reportedly the 5.1 track on the standard BD is fine.

But both editions have screwed-up 2.0 tracks (these won't be fixed).

Just as well HT was originally released in DTS.

Also, everyone has a sunburn on the BD.

Yeah, I was concerned when I saw those initial BD caps, but it seems that the UHD is fine -- apart from that chroma(?) issue.

Are any of JCVD's post 1995 movies worth watching other than In Hell?

I kinda gave up on him after The Quest.

I quite like Double Team, it's silly at times, but fun to watch.

I'll give some votes for Maximum Risk and Replicant. I also really liked Enemies Closer...JCVD's first role as a villain and felt he played it aptly.

I'm very partial to "Legionnaire" from '98 but a lot of his fans don't care for it. Titles I'd recommend more confidently would be "Double Team", "Replicant", "JCVD", "Pound of Flesh" and "The Bouncer". And - as someone above pointed out - he was a terrific villain in "Enemies Closer".

I have seen Maximum Risk.... But when it hit PPV. But I don't remember much about it.

It felt like The Quest was a letdown, Maximum Risk didn't stick with me... Double Team seemed like a gimmick... Rodman was an attention seeker at that time and I couldnt buy the pairing. Then the thing where he got beat up at a bar or whatever. The I think Legioniare was DTV. So, I just lost interest.

I do own Replicant, but I haven't watched it.

I need to watch Maximum Risk Because I think my distaste for it was mostly because of The Quest. Which I like a tad better than I did back in the day, but it isn't THAT good.

It was made as a theatrical film and had a decent budget, but after Double Team and Knock Off did poorly it went DTV instead.

It's worth a second shot.

Where is the best place to order the German or Australian release of Kickboxer and the German release of Bloodsport in the US?

EDIT: Is the UK release of Kickboxer an improvement over the US version?

And Regeneration. I actually prefer that one, but both are tremendous.

While his output of quality decreased, a few gems snuck through:

Maximum Risk
Replicant
In Hell
Wake of Death

Want cheesy fun:

Double Team
Knock Off

Want weird WTF were they thinking:

Inferno

The two main JCVD movies I am interested in only got released (ironically) together as a dual - Timecop and Bloodsport. Consensus seems to be that this was a pretty meh release, and it's dated. Really would like better individual releases for both.

I made the mistake of watching Timecop again the other day. It was worse than I remembered! Not even good in a bad way either.
