That's not what he means by "ignore list", he means the people who are on his. Which I am. And given how he still interacts with various forums nemeses but has made me ex communicado then may I be arrogant enough to assume that I'm at the head of the list?

But I'm still wondering if that comment's aimed at me because I've gone through all my posts in this thread and I can't find a single one "giving him shit" about his feelings towards TFE, we even agree about the old Gaumount transfer looking betterer than the Sony ones (this is when he was still speaking to me, natch). And I've certainly made my feelings towards the Sony UHD very clear: I enjoyed it a hell of a lot but the sharpening is ever-present.

Never knew you made his ignore list. Not exactly much fun putting people on the ignore list I feel.

Just made a order with this and Goonies. I hope they both are good 4K's. Actually wanted to wait for more reviews especially for the ones from Swanages finest

But the first impressions for TFE already convinced me. Now I hope the same goes for Goonies

This seems bizarre... If this is indeed a better master than the prior Sony release, it must be the first 4K disc where there is a different master between regions?

Nope - I can think of at least two other examples, both also Studio Canal releases.... Leon The Professional and Cliffhanger.

I'm sure there are others.

I think Leon was the same 4K transfer but a different grading in the UK.

I would throw Suspiria (1977) inot the mix as well. two very different 4K masters available.

Cliffhanger I'm not sure about.

United Kingdom UK Amazon delay

Hi,
Anyone else got their delivery of the 4K disc pushed back to 20th October?

I pre-ordered through Amazon for a release date of 24th August a few weeks ago and have just been informed it will (may) be delivered between 15th September and 20th October even had a notification of delivery today the 24th.
