1. I re-entered my debit card number, and it was rejected again.

2. I tried to log onto my bank website to see if anything was fishy with my checking account.

3. The bank website did not accept my username and password.

4. I called my bank, and found out that someone had hacked my account the night before, set my email and online bank account with a Zelle account, and used my account to transfer $2,250.00 to an outside party via Zelle.

5. I spent all of yesterday morning talking with my bank's fraud department. As per their advice, I changed my username and password, I notified all three of my credit reporting agencies to set up a fraud alert, I shredded my debit card and got a new temporary card, I changed my email password, and I ran a malware check on my MacBook when I returned home.

6. I'm now keeping my fingers crossed that nothing else happens on my account, especially before my mortgage payment is taken out on the first of the month.

7. The fraud department assured me that my stolen money should be restored in two to 10 business days.

I hope that your experience is different than mine.

A friendly poster must have noticed your intention to buy Zombi 3 and decided to do you a favor.

I really liked PRIMAL SCREAM.

Future noir on a shoestring. Cares deeply for its goofy characters/universe and that sincerity comes across in nearly every scene.

If you’re okay with movies scraped together for a few quarters, there’s a lot to enjoy here.

Dark Force’s Blu-ray looks very good, even with lots of print damage.

Hope they will keep releasing 80s obscurities like this.

Specs and brief discussion after watching film all the way through:

PRIMAL SCREAM
26-28mbps average bitrate
DISC SIZE: 22.7GB
Runtime: 1:29:32
Aspect ratio: 1.78:1
MPEG4 AVC
DTS-HD MA 2.0 Lossless
Commentary
"Made a Movie Lived to Tell" Featurette

Also includes extra:
HELLFIRE BONUS PROMO FILM
Runtime: 5:51
MPEG2 ~6MBPS (DVD quality)
1.33:1
Dolby Digital 2.0 192kbps

I'd classify Primal Scream as one of those sci-fi noir movies like Radioactive Dreams, Blade Runner, or Brazil. While the movie doesn't live up to any of those films, it is fun in its own right. It can meander a bit in times and can get a bit hammy in its detective plot, but it gets the job done overall IMO. Film grain is very healthy and varies in density throughout the presentation but is always apparent, detail is good, and color is retained well. There are minor scratches throughout the film, regular dirt, occasional large scratches - but none of these things really detract significantly from the viewing experience given the age and genre of the film.

The Blu-ray also opens with a nice animated menu based on the Blu-ray's cover art and comes with some nice extras, most interestingly a short bonus film. While the added feature is DVD-quality only, its always cool to get an extra like this added to the release regardless of the quality.

I feel this is a very strong release, probably the strongest that Dark Force has released to date and the strongest Code Red release in quite some time when you consider the age, extras, content, and transfer.

I was able to log onto my bank account on my laptop no problem so my account hasn't been compromised, thank goodness. I wonder if having my laptop "remember" my account log-in details is a wise idea even though I'm logging in from home. It's apparently very easy to steal this information nowadays. Hell, my neighbor could've found a way to hijack my password from the comfort of his easy chair I've had to shred my debit card and request a new two times in as many years so it's a very frustrating situation.

Back on topic, I ordered Primal Scream Friday night and received a shipping notice 24 hours later. I just hope no one in a banana suit schleps my order to the Post Office. I think it's a Federal offense to walk into PO buildings wearing anything that obscures your face, let alone filming someone doing it. Both those dudes could've been thrown in jail.

I had a problem with PayPal when I ordered Texas Detour/Cuba Crossing from Diabolik. Apparently anything with the word Cuba automatically gets flagged.

Well, I'm living like this until the stolen money is restored to my account, so he's partly right.

That sucks dude. If you haven’t already, download the app Credit Karma on your smartphone and create a login account. From there you’ll basically be able to see a snapshot of your whole credit report, FICO, account histories, etc. Check it week to week and you’ll be able to make sure no other irregular activities/new accounts are opened up without your knowledge. Good luck.

I'm on it. I've had a Credit Karma account for a few years now, and it's quite useful. Thanks.
