It was, and they used a PAL tape as the source... so the pitch was sped up.

I don't know if Severin/Intervision still has it or not, but SLEDGEHAMMER desperately needs a new transfer + blu-ray.

I'd also buy KILLER WORKOUT again in a heart beat!

I want to acquire some of his action films as well.

Took the opportunity and blind bought American Scream, Flesh Merchant and Raw Nerve from VS' 'SSW' sale. Looking forward to checking them out...

Flesh Merchant wasn't something I was considering, but a buddy pointed out that Michelle Bauer was amongst the cast. When I discovered that Joe Estevez and Don Stroud were also amongst the cast, I just had to have it

Adam Rifkin has a brief cameo in a spanking scene towards the end of the film, and BEYOND DREAM'S DOOR director Jay Woelfel plays a bartender.

I'm exited to get Raw Nerve and The American Scream this week. Raw Nerve is a blind buy based on a lot of recommendations in this thread. I've already seen The American Scream, but in a bad quality YouTube upload, and I loved it! So I'm looking forward to seeing the blu!

I'm hoping Girlfriend from Hell, Game of Survival, and Mind, Body, & Soul go on sale too.

I am sure they will continue to have sales until the remaining stock is gone.

I've been liking a lot of Culture Shock recently, but Debbie Does Demons was a huge disappointment. Nothing wrong with the presentation or anything; just an abysmal film. I will say, the 8 minute long rambling director intro effectively set the stage for what was to follow.

Ya sadly I bought that and Cannibal Hookers about the same time due to Jessa Flux, but was immensely let down by both, they were about the worst films I've ever seen to be honest. I am pretty sure it's a Donald Farmer thing so now I know to stay far away.

Donald's films are an acquired taste, for sure.

I love it's ambition and the aberrant approach to religious horror. Such a weighty, haunting atmosphere and score, plus, getting to see redhead beauty, Joy Boushel again... always a delight. Yeah, hopefully sometime soon.

Can't wait to see all you have in store. Especially the SOV.
Stay tuned!

Late Night Classics is going to cover comedies, sex comedies, adult cinema, and erotic thrillers - regardless of era.

Horror, exploitation, science fiction, action, and thrillers will be normal Culture Shock releases.

I am open to family films à la the Severin Kids line.

I love 90's sci-fi. Films like A.P.E.X., Philadelphia Experiment 2 and Solar Crisis. Any plans of going after these types of movies?

Yes!

The one I really want is NIGHTFLYERS from 1987.

Impeccable taste you have there.

I was really excited when the reboot series came out a few years ago. Not for the show, but that it was a perfect opportunity for the original to hit Blu-ray.

The VHS and Laserdisc are both really murky looking.

After reading about the types of movies coming up, I might as well start a Culture Shock savings fund for future purchases

I did a retrospective with Catherine Mary Stewart on NIGHTFLYERS.

She had great stories to tell like she still owns the glasses she wore in the film!
