I agree with the others...I like the red better. The blue doesn't look bad though. It does make Iron Man pop more. I'd be curious to see a gold border.

Looks good, bud. One thing I thought might look nice is if Karl Urban's name was in the middle, over the top of Dredd's head, but the font size would be increased a little bit to make it stand out from the others, so even though he would be the second-listed name, it would be obvious that he was top-billed.

Just a thought...

And that's LENA HEADEY. It's the little things...

P.S.
I don't often see complete customs from you, only fronts. Where do you usually post them?

Ah yes, thanks. The little things are important.
Also, I don't post anything anywhere else that I don't post here. I don't really make past what I post here either. Most of my covers remain unfinished or just a front.

With the length of each names, it throws it off balance in any other order. It just, looks right, in the order it's in now. You know, longest in the middle, shorter (almost equal lengths) on either side. Even if I make Karl centred and biggest, throws it off even more imo. I didn't think it's that big of a deal, it's pretty obvious he's the man.

I'll give out the large file as soon as I know what that last special feature is called lol

I think blue works better for the eyes. It just provides a better balance for the image itself.

That said, have you tried black (or dark gray)? Something tells me that would look really good with that design.

I have a question for all of you cover lovers. I used to be in touch with a guy on 9Covers before they closed down named SandMan. Does anybody have any contact with this guy, or maybe even know if he posts here?

I definitely like the red better. The blue doesn't look bad, but it's kind of distracting; my eyes just focus on the border, and not the picture.

Still working on this. Not entirely finished with the back, but you get the idea of the cover now.

You can have it when it's done. Shouldn't be long now

For now, here's Frequency, which is also near the end.

Finished three covers, two brand-new and one remake.

First, there's Frequency: (attached the artwork I used as well)

And the artwork that I used:

Then we have a remake of a custom cover for The Shawshank Redemption that I did 3-4 years ago.
Before:

After:

I think it turned out much better this time!

And lastly, my latest Bloodsport. It might get a new version down the road, should there come a 25th Anniversary Edition this year.

If you want any of these covers, pm me.

Oh, and I might as well show what I'm working on right now as well..

Does anyone have scans of the individual inserts for the first two Spider-Man films from the The High Definition Trilogy set? I can't seem to find any online.

That's a really good start. You should head over to EuphoricFX and check out some of the tutorials for using text around images. I think a little tweaking and you cover will go from good to great!

That's awesome that you're trying your hand at this at a young age!

I would try -- on the front cover -- decreasing the size of the title logo and maybe shifting it up, if necessary, as well as increasing the size of the image itself to fill out the cover more, similarly like the theatrical poster. On the back I would alter the font size and/or the positioning of the text so that it doesn't cut into Gandalf. I would also use a hard return (Enter key, start a new line) instead of hyphenating the words. It gives a better aesthetic. Might want to try making the text a gold color similar to the title logo (via color sampling would be easiest) as long as it doesn't get drowned out by the background. You could try a drop shadow if it does and you want to go with the gold. What program are you using and what is the font you used for the back cover text? I would like that font. It's nice.

That's just my advice. Hope it helps. I like style of your cover. Keep up the good work!
