Was thinking about going down to Home Town Buffet for Military Monday's but I think I'll pass. Right now I'm on hold with USA Today so I'm thinking that I hope I get through.

The fact that I wish those in charge at work would let me know if they'll change my schedule so I can return to school. Been wondering for about 3 weeks now, at this point it'd just be nice to know one way or another. I'd definitely prefer yes, so I can attend classes in person and meet new people. Plus I think I'll do better in person versus online.

My employer wants me to go down to Florida next week to lend support for hurricane relief. Double pay & travel reimbursement plus meals will be comped. A great opportunity for extra Christmas money if I didn't have a kid, thinking about leaving her with my parents while I'm gone but I'm wary on that option since I have a hard time asking them to babysit for a few hours. They're chartering a van transport so taking her along isn't an option.

Got a little gift ($) from a buddy in Cyprus who I recently helped out so was thinking about going to the movies since today is cheap day but there isn't anything that I REALLY want to watch. There are a few films I would watch but nothing that I really feel that I have to see. Still would like to see Only The Brave and American Made but they each only have one show time after 10pm. Not really feeling this new Thor that much from the trailers even though I watched the "Aaaaaah" Cate headturn like a dozen times. What to do, what to do?

The fact that it's my lunchbreak, Fellowship of the Ring is still a lot of fun to watch. Hopefully the afternoon will breeze by and be as hassle-free as possible. Can't wait to hit the gym for a 4 mile run and a lower body session.
