I got man servant warlock to 27 yesterday. Kyle laughed when he saw me come into the daily. He first saw a 27 and then saw it was a warlock and said how do you feel about it? I replied kind of like I am cheating on someone. lol

We've got pretty good at not dyeing now. I think our problem was the Sward Bearer running off and hiding and then Crota would run off to the other side.

Had similar issues. Or Crota would go down before sword guy was close enough, so he only got the one swing. Or sword guy was 1/2 second too quick, and got chopped in half before Crota was in his kneel animation. Not pointing blame at any one person, as it was just a group timing issue. The window for a successful 2-3 sword hit is extremely small, and requires perfect teamwork and timing.

We also need to watch out for thralls stepping in front of our rockets when we're downing the sword bearer. Several of us, myself included, died from that on more than one occasion.

it'll probably depend what time we're done. if we do the Crota raid again, i'd want to do it w/my hunter....but you guys will end up having to carry him since he's only level 28.

i'm sure that's how i'm going to feel when i start running my titan.

I begrudgingly leveled my Titan to 32 so I can run the sword and we can carry Benny. My Warlock is still 31 though. Are we still going to try to squeeze in a run before the flawless tonight? I could potentially start around 8est, maybe a little later depending on how long it takes for the kids to get in bed.

Not sure if I'll run another raid tonight after the VoG. I've been trying to catch up on some sleep and failing. I was going to only play until 9-9:30 last night but I just had to finish my leveling my Hunter and ended up playing until about 11.

I don't think our guys have a problem with the thralls. We pretty much stay in the left doorway and right at the top of the stairs to the left. I'm not too sure exactly what they do as I just stay Scoped in on the Boomer area and listen for Ken to tell us to run.

tonight is my wife's night to take the little man to wrestling practice. may have to try and talk my daughter into going too since one of her friends is always there b/c her little brother is in wrestling too.

if they both leave, i could possibly get on by 6:30.....but i'd have to be off by 7:45 so my wife doesn't know i played games the whole time she was gone.

hopefully she's planning to go to the gym after they get home so i can play again after the kids are in bed.

Blasphemer! Stone the heretic who does not worship RNGejus . Took me a while to get to the same conclusion, yet I'm still playing the game, not as much as I used to but at least to grind out the daily and level up weapons and gear. And pretty much the only reason to play now for me is to get cool weapons and nice clothes. I've exhausted any sort of content that is in the game and I can probably recite entire cut scenes from memory.

Well since no one was on last night I decided to do some solo runs lol

My alt hunter has no Mida tool or blink so I just ran for it! Gauntlets came in handy.

I then decided to solo the bridge again and missed the bridge but you dont have to use the bridge, I ended up doing it swinging across with sword.

Then of course Titan wanted to try it so I was able to do the lamp jump with him. Soloing the bridge with Titan was really easy, Titans dont even need to use the bridge.

I managed to clear Crota twice with 2 team of randoms my buddy put together last night. We have one guy on boomer duty other 4 on DPS all rockets (2 ghorns and 2 hungers I think). The team sword holder was a level 32 hunter who would kill sword bearer (with ghorn which limited people rocketing themselves) then run and wait on the right side behind Crota with chalice and sword. He would tell us when to shoot him with rockets then go in and strike 2 or 3 times. He backs off until Crota is not on fire then we immediately rocket him again letting him know when we fired. I believe because we rocketed by the time we told him we were firing Crota was always at his knees When he was close enough strike. What I don't know is if it took longer for Crota to hit him because we was on Crotas backside.

assuming Benny is talking about CST time, I think we'll have a window between 8est-8:45 est (7-7:45cst) and we could either start from scratch or at Crota (I have checkpoint).

Happens midway down the stairs when going after sword bearer, tryng to get him down quickly. At least our boomer guys do a good job of keeping them off of us, but a trained monkey could probably do the same!

I've seen a lot of Hunger of Crota shots miss. I'm wondering if we'd be better off using Truth or mixing a couple of machine guns in there.

yep....wife will be leaving by 6pm CST and will be home not long after 7:45pm CST.

since she's taking him to practice i'll have to help him w/his shower and read w/him tonight before bed.

i'm going to earn myself some bonus points and do the laundry after i get home....that way she can't say anything about me playing again tonight.

It feels like you have to be 1/2 a mile away when he swings the sword or it kills you, maybe coming from behind is a good idea, I will try that next time. I just can't imagine getting 3 hits in, I have been there spamming R2 as he was dropping and still can't get more than 2.

I am in need of another full run and still need to do crota on 2 more characters if anyone wants to get together this weekend sometime. I have the flawless tonight, VOG tomorrow, and unless I die tonight another flawless sunday night.

Both nightfalls I did gave 12 strange coins this week, but like you I need them so it's much better than some ascendant crap...
