Well still a lot of Directors/Producers prefer younger actresses to her in roles she could've pulled off easily and done better.

That's probably true.

She's had some duds, though. I thought some of her recent performances (e.g., "What Women Want" and "Anger Management") were pretty bad.

I'm sure she'll get a lot more attention again after "The Wrestler."

She did a great job in "Before the devil knows you're Dead". Her character was very ditzy and pathetic...unlikable overall. She made it real.

I thought she really went deep in the Wrestler too. Although she was "simply" a stripper, she really showed the complex layers of who that charater really was.

Plus..... shes hot.... so that helps.

Yes and she even won an Oscar for My Cousin Vinny (1993). Her other nominations were in the 2000's.

Although my favorite films with her are Happy Accidents and The Perez Family.
