Silent Hill Revelation pretty bad movie esp considering how long it took to come out. The 3D was very good with depth and popouts.

Ok watched Rise of Guardians yesterday and have to say the 3D is one of the best and very unique. Very colorful movie with many dark scenes with amazing lighting and camera pans

But somehow I did not like the story in the way it unfolded. For one,
[Show spoiler]it is definitely scary for young children in many scenes. There are 2 deaths that could be disturbing to kids as well. Also the plot did not evolve in an interesting way as it would have been nice to setup some intrigue of how Jack Frost came to being and have a closure with his sister when he was a boy which would have made this more emotional.

Yes I thought the story was quite awkwardly told. I don't know what it was, but it just didn't seem to flow naturally enough for my liking.

Watched Silent Hill. Movie itself was pretty ordinary, but frankly no worse than the first one. The production design was amazing as was the 3D, so I actually found it quite enjoyable eye candy. It was surprisingly well directed and edited but let down by a crap script, some truly terrible acting and a horrible hard rock score which robbed it of a lot of atmosphere.

Just watched Captain America, love the movie, and the 3D just adds much more to it.
The Baddie reminds of this icon for some reason

Watched Rise of the Guardians today. Absolutely loved it! Great story, depth and pop out. Dreamworks definitely does 3D well. 3D wise, it's not their strongest in my opinion (not that it was weak) but still definitely worth the blind buy for me! It'll get watched daily by my 5.5 year old who loved it (in 2D most days though).

Life Of Pi: With all due respect to 'Argo', 'Life Of Pi' is your Oscar winner for Best Picture, imo. This movie was just exceptional and beautiful to look at. I knew I was in for a 3D treat the first 10 minutes of the film during the intro credits. Others have mentioned this and it bears repeating: watching this in 3D is the way to go here folks. Depth and detail was amazing. This the 3D blu to beat this year...so far.

Watched Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance. Sometimes I'd better listen to all these reviews. This movie is indeed a load of tripe. And while the 3D isn't bad for an older conversion, it doesn't really add anything to the film. Might as well go with 2D.

Agreed. I watched it for a third time last night and it is just such an amazing film and should've deffo won Best Picture.

Pity most of the Academy voters probably only saw it on a dodgy dvd 'for your consideration' copy and missed seeing it way it was intended to be seen.

I actually think Hugo should've won Best Picture last year and didn't for the same reasons.

Watched: Spiders 3D

Decided to watch Cirque Du Soleil next week. Have to say, I thought Spiders was a pretty good 3D presentation. On par with Bait (Bait is a little better in the 3D aspect....but Spiders still was a good 3D presentation). I would say both movies have that same B-style look and feel to it. The acting, to me, was about the same as well for both flicks (may give the edge to Bait but really not by much). Spiders had some nice depth and detail. Good looking pq. Had some long corridor 3D effects as well. Some nice ariel 3D views of the city and the helicopters. Worth the $18. This will be a guilty pleasure flick for me.

The 3D looked Native. If this is a 3D conversion it is a VERY good one.

I bought Tangled 3D over the weekend and watched it with my step-daughter. Excellent 3D and overall good movie. One thing though, because the 3D was so good it was a little creepy to see the characters fleshed out and so human like in their movements.
