Beautiful and way sexy (for a TooN that is) lol
![]() The part where Jessica falls out of the Taxi cab and shows her under wear is still covered up by her dress do to Disney digitally altering the film in 2002. In other news the frame in the film that shows part of Betty Boo's black underwear that Disney took out when they digitally altered the film back in 2002 by digitally lowering her skirt is back on this Blu Ray release so if you care you can now see part of Betty Boo's black underwear in full HD lol ![]() All you have to do is slow it down frame by frame as she fixes her garter belt right before Jessica sings her song. My Best Buy just had that little notice taped on to the sale tag, nothing on the actual copies, just on the display.
I haven't owned this movie since I had it on VHS. Never upgraded to DVD and haven't seen it since the 90s. Man it's so good. I first checked out all three of the shorts. I remember seeing TUMMY TROUBLE on Honey I Shrunk The Kids(I think), but had never seen the other ones. So nice they included them. |

If youhave some super rare 1 of kind poster and trailer that no other theatre in the world got perhaps you would like to scan it and take a photo of it showing them off? perhaps you are mistaking the jerry bruckheimer films logo with the lighting striking the tree on the side of the road as the touchstone logo. And by spindle of film, I am assuming you mean a REEL of film? |

As for the bonus features, nothing important was lost. Unless you seriously want to play games with your remote control. I wish they had a retrospective documentary or something for the 25th Anniversay, since this is the Anniversay edition(and yet nothing besides the cover is there to really celebrate it) but I'm glad we didn't just get a bare bones release. Those are pretty much the only complaints though. There's also the problem with the DVD but Disney is already fixing that. |

So, who actually knows what is going on here... Re: Amazon and Disney? Are they:
1) Going to put that obnoxious sticker on every copy? 2) Going to change out cover art and slipcovers so contents list is correct? 3) Going to swap out the DVD for a corrected disc? I'm most inclined to suspect #1, and in that case... Are those damn stickers easy to remove without destroying the slip? ![]() |

Agreed. While this is probably the release that had more stickers to peel off then anything else I've ever bought, they came off very easily and the slip looks fantastic once the stickers are gone.

Stickers usually peel off well, yes, but in this case I really wanted to know about the giant, square "CORRECTION" sticker and how easy it comes off -- I could imagine if it was produced in a hurry as it probably was, it may have been manufactured differently with stronger or lower quality adhesive.

Well, that means probably they will be offering replacements direct to consumers who request it then, but still not sure what Amazon is going to do with all the stock they were shipped...?
Thanks for the clarification, that's good to know. Trying to decide if I should go on a mission to find one locally (which would be an undertaking since I'm in a fairly rural area) or just wait for Amazon to get their act together. Last edited by Whirlygig; 03-13-2013 at 02:11 PM. |
