How can you possibly know this? There is no indication in the app that it is an HD stream.

Especially since the file size for a full length movie is typically less than 1 GB... no way that is HD.

OMG! Are you still using iTunes? Dude....UV is the way to go. I primarily use VUDU. I linked my old itunes to Disney Movies Anywhere and all of my old Disney files in my old itunes instantly ported over to VUDU.

I highly recommend that you consider moving over to VUDU.

I prefer iTunes because it is much easier to use natively on my iPhone, iPad, Apple TV and Mac. Using the Vudu app is just not as clean/easy. I do have a Roku but I primarily use my Apple devices since they work best together and have the best interfaces. Now if only WB and Sony wouldn't block us iTunes users out, my digital collection would be more compete, but I still have the BDs for those titles.

It's strange because it seems like Warner Bros updated almost all their movie artwork to include the parallax effect and a lot of it is done really well. So Warner clearly cares about selling on iTunes but they just don't seem to want to pay to include iTunes codes with their releases.

I would like to throw DragonBall Z battle of gods, and the recent one Resurrection F into this discussion.

How were they both redeemable (specifically in the case of the 2nd one, being distributed by Fox here in the US) would #2 count as a foxredeem title?

I know battle of gods was vudu only (saw sticker at walmart denoting that), resurrection F had the UV logo on the back of the case, what was its method if it even conforms to FoxRedeem...

I saw this again today and looked again. On the sticker it says go to https://www.funimationdigitalcopy.com/ for more info. So it looks like that is where it redeems the code, it then probably ports over to all your UV accounts. No Foxredeem, so no iTunes or Google Play it seems.

Also the new Metal Boxs for the Expendables all look to be iTunes/UV like the original releases. But the the first one is still iTunes only. But says its HD this time. and the directors cut

TheDean, for the metal boxes for the expendables I would believe they're the originals with both uv and iTunes like lionsgate their distributor had them, but #1 says it's still iTunes only HD this time and directors cut.

I would not redeem until lionsgate has a final method released

Would anyone more knowledgeable than myself care to help me out?

Trying to figure out if "Now You See Me" (iTunes or UV) redeems for the theatrical or extended edition. I attempted to search this thread but "now", "you", "see", and "me" are all pretty common search terms. Thanks in advance guys!

Mine redeemed the theatrical for UV. I don't know what iTunes gives.

I believe I redeemed the same code of it in both Vudu and iTunes when it first came out.
In Vudu it is the extended edition; in my iTunes it is the theatrical.

It may be one of those that have the extended edition as part of the Extras on iTunes, so that could be the case... I don't know off hand about that though.

I got the code in the PIF thread quite awhile back and it gave me the extended edition.

Anyone know about Escape From Planet Earth? Since the iTunes copy is disc based I assume it redeems in SD? Since this is Starz I guess we will never get an iTunes HD code, right? Thanks.

Yes, if it's disc based it will redeem SD. And I don't think Starz gives out replacement codes. The UV portion might redeem in HD/HDX though.

They should both be UV + iTunes.

Quick question. Bought Olive Kitteridge (HBO show) today at Best Buy. Am I correct in assuming that I can sell the code twice? I mean once for UV and once for iTunes. I only care about having the discs in my collection. Thanks in advance for answering.
