Oklahoma State sure sucked donkey dong yesterday. That was one of the worst performances I've ever seen and one of the worst bowl games I've ever seen as well.

Glad OU finally got a bowl win again!

The best bowl game thus far was last night's Michigan St./Texas Tech. It was very exciting to watch with lots of big plays and the trick plays from Michigan State were awesome.

Yeah really, I was watching college basketball even though the zaga game/ uk game were both good.. That OkSu game was unwatchable.

And Oregon lost to Boise State, beat USC who beat OSU so really what does that say? That OSU has accomplished a major comeback in Football history.

Sad fact is Iowa was hands down the best team in that conference maybe with the exception of the Northwestern game (I don't know if thats when he got hurt), but if he doesn't get hurt Iowa CLEANS out the big10 and is on to bigger and better things.

Hahaha. Some of the fields teams played on (like LSU and Miami) were just horrible. I agree that Iowa's probably the best team in the conference. I am just sick of people saying the Big Ten is weak is all. I have been quite content with the results of the bowl games thus far.

The Big Ten is having a great bowl season, there is no denying that. However, the Champs Sports Bowl and the Capital One Bowl could have been very different results had the field condition not been horrendous.

I think people get sick of OSU and Penn State love fest because they win one game verse better then average teams and it makes up for years of beatdowns from top contending teams. I know I do, just like in that USC game when OSU was beating them, Herbie couldn't keep his mouth closed on how amazing it was they were beating a freshy QB and an "amazing " USC team. Then USC comes back and wins and its "well USC is a national championship team this year . "

I get fed up with that and more importantly it doesn't give the truely quality teams the real credit they deserve like the IOWA team this year.

You think if Pryor had gotten hurt and OSU was undefeated going into the last 3 weeks they'd have just ignored him being hurt (Stanzi maybe got a couple minutes on the shows after his injuries). Nope all we'd here is what I was saying early x50 from all the shows, internet articles exc.

I don't remember anyone thinking Oregon was a top team (just impressed with their comeback from the situation they had in Boise), just like usc wasn't a 4 early in the year (well thats not true Herb said they were a "national championship team" this year ). Like I said USC beats OSU, Oregon whips USC, and loses to Boise and OSU.

The whole Oregon situation makes you wonder how good Boise State is. On the flip side of that coin, if TCU wins the Fiesta Bowl, how good is TCU?

As will I my ACC friend. Anything that makes the BCS look bad equals playoff system more likely to be in place in college football.

Please LSU had trouble scoring on normal fields all season long. Penn St was the better team and it showed on Jan. 1. As for the Champs Sports, again Miami is a fraud and has been all season. Wisky plays tough and they overpowered them throughout that game. Both would have been the same results on a perfect field. Excuses, excuses I tell ya.

There is no way around the fact that both LSU and Miami have faster teams and their offenses and special teams were severely affected by the field conditions. There is no getting around the fact. Even with the field conditions being hugely unfair to the Tigers and 'Canes they still almost won their respective bowl games. There are no excuses for bowl games to be played on fields in such an awful condition, it's not fair to to teams, the fans, or the sport itself. The two better teams did not win because of that field, and that is not fair.

Yeah really lol big10 football is known for big slow pounding teams that run the ball, everything LSU and miami aren't which is what those field conditions helped tremendously.

Trying to say those conditions didn't affect their teams reminds me of this

You make me laugh dude getting caught up in that speed hype nonsense. Penn St and Wisky played on the same field. You would think since. they are the supposed slower teams this would really slow them down.

If you have watched all four teams like I have you would know that LSU has zero offense, poor qb play and Miami plays zero defense and has inconsistent qb play. LSU ranked 102(out of 120 teams) in total offense this season. You aren't going to beat teams like Penn St. and Wisky with teams like that. Both teams were inconsistent all season long and it showed in these games. So LSU was automatically supposed to start scoring on a perfect field on Jan. 1 against Penn St and Miami was supposed to start playing good defense and their inconsistent QB was supposed to start playing better against Wisky. Yeah right. You overrate LSU, this isn't 2007, they were not that good. Penn St. was the better team. Miami is just not there like everybody thought back in October. Wisky was the better team. I don't care what kind of field these games were played on.

You sound like freaking Mark May with all of this speed talk. Speed doesn't mean a whole lot when you don't have a good qb and neither LSU or Miami have one. Speed also doesn't matter when you don't play defense and Miami doesn't play it well at all. Penn St and Wisky both play good solid defense.
