So Bill Hunt is erroneously claiming the 35th had the original mono and that the same mix is to be found on the UHD??? Again with the Halloween misinformation!

Gonna hold off on this until someone more trusted can confirm if the genuine og mono is on this one.

I hope that isn't the case. I refused to buy the box-set as I'm not a fan of the other films, and I refuse to buy that bootleg.

One of the first youtube reviewers posted a second video saying the mono is the boxset mono so I'm just hoping now that wee Bill has been even more calamitous with his facts than usual... I did the same. I will say I haven't had terrific experiences with Target on-line orders. Hereditary took an extra 8 days to arrive and they sent the Blu ray not the UHD. I don't know if they (in recent memory) delivered a title on the release day....

so for anyone ordering from Target, I would weight that into the cheaper price.

I have the 35th Anniversary edition and the more recent complete collection. I probably don't need 3 copies of the same movie, but it's going to be hard to give the 35th anniversary edition away...

I spoke to Bill and he is double checking about the audio. Not sure he knew the 35th anniversary was a fold-down, and that the box set corrected it.

Bill Hunt now confirms the UHS does NOT have the original mono from the Anchor Bay box set disc, but the same down mix from the 35th anniversary blu.

See it's things like this that makes people upset and resort to fan edits. The original mono lossless is already done and out there, so why didn't Lionsgate just use the one from the box set?
