I was actually slightly disappointed with this episode.

[Show spoiler]The use of the water during the prison break was great but immediately after that I felt the writers had really ran out of clever ideas and just had the prisoners run around throwing stuff at the guards and eventually shooting them all. In terms of believability it just worked but only because of the repeated exposition that the prison was short on guards. And in the middle of this tense escape (after they had jumped off into the water) the episode cut to a long, talky sequence with Luthen. It was a fine scene but placed at entirely the wrong point and it just derailed the whole structure of the episode. It should have been moved to earlier in the episode or held over to kick off the next episode.

Overall I did still enjoy the episode but it didn't quite hit the heights it could have.

That would have been great to see. Such a shame Rebels has apparently already covered it.

Fantastic episode. The writing, acting, production, score, editing all top notch. And best of all, NO Favreau and Filoni to be seen anywhere.

The prison break and Kino’s speech was seriously one of the biggest fist pumping scene in Star Wars in quite awhile. I loved seeing the Imperials cowering in fear.

Last few episodes were amazing. I was wondering and saw in the credits the last 2 episodes were written by the House of Cards creator. This is now my favourite Star Wars series with The Mandalorian as 2nd.

True - but thats the price we pay for "prequels" for basically anything. You get invested in characters but already know their fate and if its bad.... it does suck.

Decent last episode. Id say the show is good overall thus far. Im not blown away by it or anything as some are but its as good as any show released so far related to star wars, IMO. All in for Season #2.

I was thinking about prequelitis the other day, the best prequels are the ones that make us care about the fate of the other characters and boy this show has done that in spades. Will be watching ep 10 shortly, eeeeeek!

Episode 10 is truly epic, I can't imagine how the finale will manage to top Episodes 6 and 10, what a great show. It's comical how much better this is than the Obi-Wan show in every way.

I'm always a bit suspicious of anything that Disney makes lately, but I quite like this series. I finished ep 10 earlier.

I liked the Mandalorian also, but it has a more kid like, goofy vibe to it, which the original Trilogy also had. So I can understand that they went in that direction with the Mandalorian.

But they've also had some misses, imo, like Obi Wan.

Andor is a bit darker, grittier and a bit more adult than the Mandalorian.

I thought that ep 10 was the season finale, but I just quickly checked, and nope, ep 11 is coming out next week. That's great! I'm glad to have been wrong.

There aren't that many things on Disney that I really watch, but stuff like Andor makes me not regret my sub, and I look forward to seeing what's going to happen next week.

After the original Trilogy, I kind of dropped out of Star Wars for a long time, literally decades. It's only recently with stuff like the Mandalorian and Andor that I'm excited for Star Wars again.

Andor shows the inner workings of the Empire as I've never seen it before. Some of the shots and sets in this series are really nice.

Agree here. Looking back, ObiWan was pretty cheesey. The trailer looked great. There were a few choice scenes which were great too. But, Luke was in it for about 1.8 seconds. The cute kid became the center point of the show. The side story with Reva was a colossal waste of time. It also felt low budget and just missed too many marks.

BOBF is an embarrassment to the saga and should be deleted permanently.

Mandalorian is Pretyy good. Dragged in spots and season #2 outshined season #1 by a good margin. But it’s a cool show. And we get to see Luke as he SHOULD have been portrayed. That alone was worth it all.

I’ll be honest, it’s taken me a while to get onboard with this series. But Episode 10 was truly the best so far. I really felt for Andy Serkis, the MVP so far. Don’t really care about Bix or her subplot but hopefully it leads to somewhere interesting.
