I purchased the two movies separately (the Signature Series version of the first film and the regular version of the second film). That cover is okay, but I don't believe the 2-pack is sold in the US.

I think if I do eventually make a 2-Disc, it'll be fairly much seem as though it'd be a "If the 1970's had Blu-ray" sort of cover. I could eventually work on alternate covers using the original posters. Don't like the Award Series/Collector's Edition or the current covers for The French Connection I & II consecutively. Love the Film Series cover for the Blu-ray and the one for the UK/Ireland of the two-pack. The cover for II on its own matched the DVD too closely and feels "off". Maybe I'll use the fancy sans serif font which is used on the 1960's or older styled 20th Century FOX logo used on the poster for the reverse. The UPC is still gonna be there.
All I need are tons more fonts again.

Sources for the poster are somewhat limited, but I managed to upscale it with few artifacts. I've mentioned it before, but artwork is very forgiving when upscaled.

I'm most proud of finding screenshots for the back that matched the colour scheme of the poster. I sweat the details!

This was begun as a commission where the client didn't follow through. That certain gentleman may not PM me about this, but everyone else feel free.

I really like this. I own the Ultimate Trilogy and I'm not a fan of the cardboard box packaging. I purchased a Viva Elite case to house all 3 discs and have been looking for some good cover art to slip in the empty case.

It goes under the title "Ffolkes" here in the U.S. but I prefer the British title.

It has great nostalgia value for me.

Not on Blu-ray yet, but I'm hoping.

this is from the time when they made cool movies. I rember I did watch this a long time ago, great movie hope we get this along with other great movies from Eliot castner on BD.

I know alphadec, I feel the same way.
I originally did a custom cover with the US poster for “Ffolkes” (the poster, which is highly reminiscent of “Diamonds Are Forever” has Roger Moore in a Bond pose standing on an oil rig with girls hanging all over him). However I could never quite get it to work and gave up on the project as a result.
That changed this week when I came across a high resolution version of the DVD cover and also learned the font used for the TT on the original poster (Avant Garde). Using the font (which is available at EuphoricFX.org) I went to work on the cover.
Because the US poster had a white background my original attempt had a white background. However, because the DVD cover had a blue background I made the change.
The movie has high nostalgia value for me. I grew up in the UK and on the eve of my first visit to the US (in 1989) we watched the movie on videotape. It was/is my uncle’s favorite movie and since he was driving me to the meet-up area where all the students were assembling to go to the airport we put the movie on for him to watch.
Of course I had seen the movie before but it was watching it then that gave it that nostalgic quality.
