Glad you liked it. Sorry about the DVD. That sucks.

You wanna talk about the film, or do you wanna wait?

I'm a little behind on this but I finished "Unbreakable" last night. A really great story of rebirth and trying to find your place in the world. This movie was just great, M. Night Shamalyn did a great job directing this. The comic book allusions, the colors, the way he directs the camera was just great. I haven't seen too many of M's movies but this would probaly be my favorite.

4.5/5

Lotso is a great villain. He is actually EVIL, where as some of the others are just kinda scary.
[Show spoiler]Lotso actually tried to kill the crew. Not hurt, KILL

was it just me or did you absolutely LOVE
[Show spoiler]seeing Big Baby sitting on the swing set just staring up at the moon, and then the scene pulls back and you see how dark, silent and creepy the playground is and Big Baby just staring off into space...
. i think that might just be the "darkest" Pixar scene to date

Just my personal opinion. Everyone is free to disagree:
-no likeable characters, other than
[Show spoiler]Rorshak dude
who was semi-likeable, but was
[Show spoiler]shat on
at the end.
-torture porn without any purpose, such as
[Show spoiler]the dog chewing a kidnapped girls' bones
or
[Show spoiler]the naked couple who i couldn't give two shi%s about doing it in the cockpit
. That imagery is ok, as long as there is some purpose behind it.
-Dr Man-whatever: full of holes.
[Show spoiler]he's god, he's not god, he only sees HIS past and future, yet he sees everyones past and future....
His powers are never explained (ok they don't need to explain every detail), but they weren't even explained on a general level. Then his emotions were supposedly toyed with based on how he got his powers...another plot line that was not explained nor made sense. Later in the movie, after his emotions were toyed with, Manhattan has an epifany, based on the past of another..wait?!?! i thought he only saw his own past...my bad...this isn't supposed to make sense

-I got so bored I watched most of the film on 1.5x speed on the PS3 (fastest speed where you can still read subtitles) <-- a retort of all the "2001 and TWBB is soooo slow and boring" posts
Did you dislike Sin CIty for the same reason? I did. Senseless violence, for the sake of violence.

It was directed by Robert Redford and the houses and streets you see is my city of Savannah

Justin Long was suposed to be here for it but he got in a car wreck in LA

In the wake of Abraham Lincoln's assassination, seven men and one woman are arrested and charged with conspiring to kill the President, the Vice-President, and the Secretary of State. The lone woman charged, Mary Surratt, 42, owns a boarding house where John Wilkes Booth and others met and planned the simultaneous attacks. Against the ominous back-drop of post-Civil War Washington, newly-minted lawyer, Frederick Aiken, a 28-year-old Union war-hero, reluctantly agrees to defend Surratt before a military tribunal. As the trial unfolds, Aiken realizes his client may be innocent and that she is being used as bait and hostage in order to capture the only conspirator to have escaped a massive manhunt, her own son.

Justin Long was suposed to be here for it but he got in a car wreck in LA. I believe he was suppose to present it.

After that trial is when it was decided to have cases with people as the jurors

Lotso was just a demented toy that had almost no power once his minions betrayed him, I would've liked him a lot more if the good guys
[Show spoiler]had actually been burned at the end.
Would've made him a much more effective villain in my eyes.

I love toys too, even at the age of 30 but they're just toys and I think most people would've been able to handle it. The good guys can't always triumph.
