Yes.... A million times yes. A lot of talk about the Gjallarhorn (which I done have) , but I think Ice Breaker is useful in more situations. The ammo regeneration is probably it's best perk, but it does massive precision damage.

I noticed that earlier. I was killing the level 25 knights at the 1st area in "The Dark Below" mission with 1 shot to the head.


I also picked up The Saterienne Rapier from the Crucible last night. It doesn't have the auto fire like the VOC but that thing is amazing. I can't wait to unlock Firefly on it.

We finished the runs including the nightfall. I am done with destiny for the day though. Going to be dreaming about weeklys and nightfalls tonight lol.

Is there anyone that can help red_5ive out with a quick run through the weekly?

Sweet! I just lucked out! I had 2 engrams I hadn't cashed in yet after leaving abruptly earlier. I got a strange coin out of one of them and got my helmet from Xur so I'm good for now. Thanks, guys.

Edit: Helmet bumped me up to L29.

Yes.

It's worth it and even more!

It does alot of damage, has an amazing range and most importantly.....

It generates ammo by itself. No ammo packs needed. Therefor, no cool downs and you can use your heavy ammo pack, which is more important during strikes, Nightfall, heroic and raids.

Get it. If you don't, you'll regret it.

Easily one of the best exotics. Just like the Gjallarhorn.

Thanks Rick, Josh, Pickles (Dylan?), and Pickle's friend for helping me get to level 28 hunter and re-run the weekly/nightfall. Got all 3 helmets from Xur and two ice breakers. Also got a 3rd Suros from the nightfall. Now I just need to find another Crota raid...

Crap. Wish I saw this before I bought the helmet from Xur. I'd have grabbed the Ice Breaker instead. I'd just been so determined to get my helmet upgraded (was still running a rare at L28!) that I didn't bother to look at the stats on the Ice Breaker. I'm also not really a sniper guy so that pretty much left me ignoring it.

Well I stayed up until 2am to get in on one of the raids with you guys and my connection completely screwed up I kept getting stupid error codes and getting booted just sitting in orbit, constantly trying to connect to destiny servers....

Turned the PS4 on just now and an invite to play pops up from 1:08am last night, no good getting the invite 10 hours after it was sent!

I can't wait to get back to my old connection again, this one makes the game unplayable.
