I will make a comparison between this and the DVD when I have time for anyone interested.
I'll be interested to see before it comes to america

The Rescuers

It looks very nice, much better than the DVD transfer.

It looks very good, but I'm not sure if a completely full restoration has been done. I could spot a few specks and I thought I could see some brief colour differences in some shots, although they were only very quick and very minimal, so I could just be nitpicking. For Blu-ray, it's certainly good enough.

Oh, it's definitely new. The DVD had a lot of dirt popping up every second

I hope a review for Treasure Planet is posted in this site soon so we can know how good (or bad?) it looks and sounds.

Nothing so far, they usually normally don't talk exclusives until a month till release, you'll have to look at walmart.com and they let you preorder the exclusives, they did that for lady and the tramp and the muppet

Walmart is doing a Cindy exclusive, and I would almost count on a steel for Cindy too, other than that so far nothing.

Wow those clips for Rescuers and RDU look amazing. They almost look like a completely different movie to me since I never bought the DVDs and the last time I saw them was on VHS. Can't wait!

I was thinking about amazon trade in, but for 17 movies I only get $68, which isn't worth it. any suggestions? Should I even upgrade?
I went with Craigslist. I think I got 15 each for my toy story's, most other movies 15 as well but those were dreamworks. If you have all the slip covers that will def help with resale

I'm very happy that Disney is delivering quality transfers for Pocahontas, The Rescuers/The Rescuers Down Under and The Aristocats. The only thing to make this better is that Pocahontas would've come with If I Never Knew You included in the film and for Disney to inform us the bonus material that will be included in The Rescuers set.

Default Aristocats Blu-ray / DVD Comparison

As I said, I created a comparison between the different editions of the Aristocats (Gold Collection / Special Edition DVD / HDTV rip / Special Edition Blu-ray)
* not all pictures are exact frames, but most are
* I also made two overlapping pictures to show off the difference between the current edition and the 1.33:1 Gold Collection edition. This is the first time I'm doing this so, please, bare with me

Overlapping Comparison (Golden Edition DVD / Blu-ray)
Thanks for the pictures! Comparing them I think the BD looks great and an improvement over the DVD editions.

thanks. I still have to figure out if I should upgrade or not, but if I was able to make some cash off the others it would definitely help.
