Sent a package Priority International to Hungary on the 12th and it was delivered today. Damn USPS is badass.

They now have Froot Loops and Cinnamon Toast Crunch shakes at Burger King. I think I'll stick with the chocolate Oreo though.

just found out my aunt (great-aunt, technically) is in the hospital; mild heart attack. she's my favorite aunt, too. always so nice and ready to help anyone who needs it. and always a kind word to say, except about idiots and stupid people, lol.

she's 93 (i think) so she's not young. but she certainly acts young, lol. she drives like a teenager (about 10 miles over the limit).

anyway, she's in the hospital. and i don't know how much longer she'll be with us, but i hope she can hold out until after christmas. not sure i can handle losing her before.

update: it wasn't a heart attack, it was a urinary tract infection. it was causing symptoms that resembled a heart attack, but the cardiologist said it was definitely NOT a heart attack. so good news there. and the uti can be treated with antibiotics.

none of which i'm aware.

my cousin (her son, retired law enforcement) always takes care of stuff like that. she lives with him since she can't get around so go anymore. so any time she has to go to the doctor he takes her for stuff like that.

thankfully she'll be home today.

Kinda want a technical athletics shirt from my university but they're a touch expensive so torn on that one.

Actually $33 isn't too bad, would really need to put my hands on the material to see if the Under Armour and Nike ones are as good as the plain ones.

UTI's can also intensify dementia symptoms, I've seen it firsthand with my mom. It can also present symptoms of increased confusion & other dementia-like symptoms in people without dementia, particularly elderly women. I've also witnessed this with my best friend's mom. Nice to hear everything seems fine with your aunt.

The fact that my major is now Family and Child Sciences and my minor is Child Advocacy Studies. Still not sure why I need a minor but unless it really impacts my bid to get a bachelor's I'm not sure I care. Also wishing loud and annoying would go home already. I'm glad I have enough of a life to go home at my scheduled time.

I was at the store and some little girl had two $5 bills that she lost. Her mom was asking an employee if anyone found it and turned it in. I felt bad, but really, what can you do? Who's going to turn in random bills found on the floor that where the ownership can't be proven? I found a $20 once at the mall. Wasn't about to ask the 100 people around me if it was theirs.
