I like those covers, great work. One comment I have or rather question, isn't Liv Tyler's picture on The Return of the King cover from The Fellowship of the Ring? I think some of the others are as well, it would be nice if the pictures represented the time-frame of the movies.

Thanks for the comments - yes, I didn't use corresponding pictures for each movies as I had to find suitable shots, which wasn't the case with each character. They will be made available very soon.

Here's a chasing Amy Cover I did to combine the Blu Ray and DVD, I made it Criterion since it was apart of the collection on DVD at one point

[Show spoiler]
Care to make a custom cover for Silence of the Lambs? Same type for Criterion but have their DVD as the second disc but the MGM Blu-ray with all the features listed first? Disc 1 = MGM Blu-ray, Disc 2 = Criterion DVD & Disc 3 = complete OST CD listing. But there aren't any Criterion 3-Disc cases.
How about one for a custom LD to DVD for the Criterion of Bram Stoker's DRACULA (DVD9) with the current Sony release of it? Unless if someone already has a template for the current Criterion releases.

Looking for a link for BartlettPhotos version of TAXI DRIVER custom cover which is the scan. All I'm gonna do is add the Compact Disc Digital Audio logo to it since I'm gonna have the OST CD with it.
Also been wanting to create a custom cover for tons of covers where instead of the Digital Copy blurb, I'll just put the soundtrack listings. Since I do that if a Blu-ray disc release doesn't carry an isolated score track.

I like that the fronts are using the poster art, but for the logos, the colors are off and and logos aren't balanced -- as in, they aren't pointing straight, they are pointing upwards. Needs a little work, but so far so good.

I am trying to get similar ones commissioned in the fashion of the original VHS boxes, so far I am searching for high resolution elements. Not an easy task.

no clue what your talking about. If your refering to the front logos, thats exactly the angle the studio created them. They are not suposed to be a straight angle. I didn't adjust them at all, kept them as layed out by Universal which I got from them from the media kits. So its their colors and their angles.

It'd be nice if you uploaded your custom cover art to somewhere besides an Apple website. I'm not giving that company any of my information.

I'm talking about the way they are presented in the films and on the theatrical one-sheets. In the films, and the theatrical one-sheets, they are at a straight angle, and the colors are orange and yellow, with blue outlines. I've never gotten the different angles, nor the wacky colors.

Such as:

Oh, and "Media kits"? Where can I find them?

Default Twilight Saga

So I have had so many requests to finish my Twilight set, I thought I'd pull it out and dive in again. Only thing is Im at a loss as what to do with the back to keep it uniform with the front style and red/white look... any ideas??

I know a ton of folks made covers for Star Wars, but did anyone make a complete matching set for all 9 discs with each bonus disc getting it's own cover?

Media kits are pretty easy to come by, but it will usually cost some money.

I have boxes full of media kits from my stint as an Entertainment Reporter from 2001 - 2008 since the studios let us keep them. Media kits show up on ebay all the time.

I did some as well, they're not as thorough as dv8pdx but everyone has their own way of doing custom covers. Mine usually lean towards the simpler side.

Those look great. If I were forced to add something to the back I would take a famous scene or image from each respective film, take it into photoshop and make it look like a drawing/illustration. I would then make the lines that make up the drawing either red or black to match the color scheme of the rest of the cover. Just a suggestion and I'll post an example when I get a few minutes.

Something like this but obviously it could look a lot better the more time spent on it.
