If I didn't have the M.J.D. + Hightower combination I'd go after Marion. He's my second favorite HB, despite being with the Cowboys. Maurice will always be #1.

It would have been nice if Cruz was in the league, had a higher pick than me (like #32 ), and watched me take M.J.D. from him.

Uh. No thanks. Not all of us have a LB named Willis and a RB named Gore. All Pro is just fine. Defense becomes stupid on All Madden. The patch we were waiting for fixed that.

ok, so I get not running up the score too much on the CPU. But, what if you're running (using a variety of run plays in the 3rd or 4th) and you just happen to break a few? Would that be held against you? Obviously, the commish can check the box score (and I think drive summary) to make sure certain scores are not the result of deliberate efforts to crush the CPU.

I'd like All-Madden although I don't think it'll make much of a difference against the CPU. I'd just prefer it so that the people I go against have a little tougher time. I'm totally fine with all-pro though.

Since its not NCAA you don't gain anything with a larger score difference against an opponent (no polls). All Pro is geared toward casual gamers, which pretty much describes most of us. Put your backups in. Look for plays you have never used. Take advantage of being way up and experiment. You might find something you can use later.

I have neither of those guys. LOL. The defense becomes stupid on all-madden??? The defense becomes better and its makes it a lil more difficult to score.

On All-Pro though, The defense is literally stupid!!

Awareness goes down on All-Madden. Your defensive players miss much more then they do on all-pro.

Yes, which makes CPU games harder. All-Pro is just way way to easy. I literally stop playing after the second qtr my last game. Just ridiculous how stupid the AI is on All-Pro. I started punting on first down so they could get the ball back and I would not run up the score.

As for All-Madden (on my end), I think the D plays the same as All-Pro. I don't notice a drop off in AWR.

My biggest concern is the CPU games. We have 9 or 10 CPU teams, need to make it a lil harder on some of these people. But its up to you all.

actually, I am in an all-madden online league and it seems like scores are more reasonable in PvP as well. I noticed that comeback is much less pronounced, but I only have a couple of those games under my belt as evidence (35-3 against a good player and then 35-17 against another... neither seriously threatened me like people do when I play and am ahead in all-pro). Again, it could just be the small sample size, but I always feel the onset of comeback mode in all-pro.

I've lost to the CPU in All Pro games in Madden 11. Not eveyone is the same level of player and we are here for fun. Plus some have crap teams. All-Pro with no CPU restarts is fine with me. You are worried that some might get to the play offs from playing CPU teams? IF that happens they won't last past round one if they can't play. Conversely you put it on All Madden and what if a CPU team gets to the play offs? That is worse in my book.
