Annie is another great example of an uneccessary change of a well-established character's ethnicity. Thanks for pointing it out.

Hmmm, just thinking back to the introduction of the Safari Suit by Roger Moore in 'Moonraker'. I hope that change doesn't get a reboot?

Roger Deakins was the director of photography (d.o.p.) on Skyfall does anyone know if he's the d.o.p. on SPECTER?

Hoyte Van Hoytema is taking over for this film. He also worked on Her, Interstellar and The Fighter.

He's not. It's Hoyte Van Hoytema (DP for Interstellar, Her, The Fighter, etc).

Edit: ^^what he said

I sincerely hope they let Waltz run with the character and get into the skin of the bad guy. The potential here for such a memorable, villainous character is huge, not only for Bond canon but for villain movie history. Waltz clearly has got the chops and I do want to see another absorbing "bad guy" performance like Anthony Hopkins' Hannibal Lector, or Cathy Bates' Annie Wilkes, or Heath Ledgers' Joker.

yes just like how brits call all older ladies "mum" "mother" etc i can get M being linked with "mother"

but to literally make a villain with mommy issues was just so pathetic, for me...as im expecting villains that are power hungry and want world domination or villains that 'just want to watch the world burn'; i can dig wanting revenge on the agency too but then when you throw in the "sniffles, mommy why don't you love me....waaaaah" and then everything violent act they've done in the movie is equated with a child having a tantrum (with bombs) just really makes it lame, for me :P

so when you hear about the daddy/brother issues of this one it's just UGH giant facepalm

continuity seems to have people worried if and when Daniel Craig is replaced. Well, its hard to believe there are people out there that do not know the book order is VERY different from the film order.

well, they should know now.

These press shots were taken in the Austrian ski resort of Sölden. Sounds like Bond is back on the slopes!

Cool...it's been too long since we've had a ski chase sequence in a Bond movie.

Back to new Bond casting ideas; with a haircut and a clean shave, I think Clive Standen could pull off Bond
