If it really have forced French subtitles, maybe they´re under the Scope Picture since it´s a 2,35:1 film.

I´m going to copy the French vrsion without the French forced subtitles and do English Sound on it and then I´ve the perfect disc without forced Subtitles.

Thank you so much! As much as I would be bummed about the forced subs, I could live with it. I am more concerned about the PQ because as you stated, I have never seen a decent print of this film. I look forward to hearing your thoughts about it...

This is the first time this film gets an official disc release by a legit studio. The previous prints were illegal bootlegs...

There are some screenshots(probably from the new blu-ray) that look very good if you scroll down.

A German already received the blu-ray and he said in his comment(also on the site) that the picture quality is terrific.

Kino is having a sale. Some Bronson is under $10. Need to spend $50 for FS. There are many non Bronson titles on sale.

I don't understand much French either but I know "French non imposés" means forced subs. Oh well, the PQ looks great so I will order this and hang onto it until something better comes along (not likely). I hope the Tony Curtis extra has English audio. At 40 minutes plus, that looks sweet!

Maybe the subtitles are below the 2,35:1 Scope picture. They already sent the blu-ray to me. I´ll receive it on Tuesday.

Even though the movie is sub-par, I'm really looking forward to seeing it in decent quality even if I have to suffer forced subs.

No doubt some other Blu-ray labels will pick the new transfer up at some point.

I´ve got great news for all Bronson fans!

I got the French Blu-ray of "You can´t win´em all" today and I can tell you that I already watched half of the movie in English without subtitles!!!

So you can remove the French subtitles easily via remote control.

The picture quality is amazing. Great!

The 40minute feature about Tony Curtis is in English. You can also watch it without forced subtitles.

I don´t know why Sidonis wrote on their website that the subtitles are forced. Maybe the guy was drunk.

Great news! Ordered!! I really appreciate the heads up.

$30.00 U.S. including shipping. Well worth it! While I agree it is a mediocre film, I have been a fan of Bronson and Curtis since I was a child and to see them together is a treat. They had great chemistry in this film and in real life. It is a shame this movie wasn't successful so we could have had more films of them paired. Once I get Chato's Land delivered from the TT sale, this will put me at 36 Charles Bronson titles in my collection (still need to get some of the Olive blu's and others). My next most wanted Bronson films (or should I say films with Bronson in them) are Machine-Gun Kelly (come on, Shout!), 4 for Texas (Bronson, Frank, Dino, Ursula Andress and the Three Stooges!) and This Property Is Condemned (Paramount)....

I have a totally different Bronson taste here

I want "St.Ives", Telefon, Love and Bullet and Borderline" next.

Curtis said in an interview hat he learned a lot of Bronson, e.g. how to keep in shape and it is true because Bronson´s body at the time was great.

You can often see him without shirt in that film. It starts right at the beginning.

I don´t think that we ever get "Raid on Entebbe" on blu-ray.

Today I bought the new German blu-ray(mediabook) of "Cold Sweat" that Koch Media released.

The picture quality is better than the US, Japanese or French release because they worked on the colors after I told them how the current blu-rays looked.

But the picture quality is not as great as the German HDTV Version but better than the other blu-rays.

Just watched my Kino blu of Cold Sweat. You were right, the transfer is horrible. Sometimes it looks like a blu ray but most of the time it looks like a dvd and a few times it looked like a BAD dvd. I enjoyed it although I think it would be a forgotten film if Bronson wasn't in it (although I loved James Mason's performance. His fake accent cracked me up). The car chase was the highlight of the film...
