You're right man, I'll just let it go. It's not worth it, and it's like talking to a brick wall.

Tuberville would be using the Red Raiders as a stepping stone, but he's also a good coach who is the total opposite from Leach, which is exactly what they need even if it's only for a year or two.

LOL

And I guess all your arguing about speed is just to say that they would have lost by a little less. Like I said, good stuff.

Yeah move on its like that video I put up yesterday

Yeah I just hope he wouldn't try to do the spread again that was a disaster in his final year at Auburn, it was disgusting, I don't think they'll ride him as much at TT if he isn't an every year national championship team like he got at Auburn.

It looks like South Florida has fired Jim Leavitt for grabbing and striking a player during a game this season. The father of the player in question made the allegations, but eventually backtracked and the player reported that the coach had just grabbed his shoulder pads. Leavitt would be the third coach this season to get fired for mistreatment of a player. ESPN is saying that potential replacements include Florida defensive line coach (and former Iowa State coach) Dan McCarney, Tommy Tuberville, and former South Florida assistant and current Michigan offensive coordinator Calvin Magee (who should be hoping South Florida has not watched his offense at Michigan).

Hey, that's your opinion, and you're more than welcome to it.

I, on the other hand, find Miami and "the U" to be the slum of all slums, and have no problem with Miami being average in the ACC, let alone the NCAA.

We can still all get along.

According to the LA Daily News Pete Carroll has officially resigned from USC and has agreed in principle to become the coach of the Seattle Seahawks. It's going to be interesting to see who the new coach is. Their supposed top target, Oregon State coach Mike Riley, signed an extension this weekend and will stay with the school. It's possible some coaches could be scared by the inevitable sanctions that will eventually be coming to the school. There's also the fact that it's so late in the recruiting season that it's going to be hard to keep the existing recruits and undecided recruits. However, USC has a lot of talent, a starting quarterback with three years of eligibility left, and a great fan base.

Some possible candidates to replace Carroll include Stanford coach Jim Harbaugh, who is unlikely because he wants to be an NFL coach, TCU coach Gary Patterson, who recently signed an extension with the school when Notre Dame was looking at him, and Boise State's Chris Peterson, who also recently signed an extension. Former USC player and Tennesse Titans coach Jeff Fisher was reportedly USC's second choice behind Riley, and USC tried to hire Fisher in 1997 and 2001, but Fisher reportedly isn't interested. USC grad and Jacksonville Jaguars coach Jack Del Rio could also be a candidate. He has a meeting with the owner this week and could possibly be fired but regardless could decide he'd rather coach college than spend the next year on the hot seat.

Well that's just great, it's already our weakest class in Shannon's tenure and we're now losing a solid defensive recruit. Not good at all.

Once he fills out and gains some weight he'll be a tackling machine, you got yourselves a great recruit.

Iowa cornerback Amari Spievey has decided to go to the NFL. Iowa's defense would have been great next year with Spievey back, but they should still be solid with 8 returning starters.

4 of the bowl game starters, although they have 2 players back with significant experience. Other than that their only real offensive loss is tight end Tony Moeaki, but he's been hurt a lot of his career so his backup Allen Reisner has a lot of experience. How Iowa's offensive line comes together will be key next year because they have a very favorable schedule with Ohio State, Penn State, and Wisconsin at home so they should contend for a Big 10 title.

Yeah, if that line is sustainable you'd probably clean house again, but if those holes show up it might be a long season.

Dudes! I just read that Lane Kiffin is going to coach USC!!! WTF?!?! Where did this come from. Talk about left field. I wonder if he's taking daddy there too... I'm still puzzled why everyone has such confidence in the guy.

Wow! Just....wow! I am stunned by this! He's leaving and he's taking his Dad along with Ed Orgeron with him!

I hate to say it but this is going to set Tennessee's program back a WHILE!

3 coaches in 3 years. Plus you just know most if not all of the recruits are going to jump ship! Plus there's no possible way Tennessee could get a quality coach this late in the game. WR coach Kippy Brown has been named interim coach for the time being.

I just hope we throw a ton of money towards Jon Gruden. He is the best bet at keeping some of the recruits.

I hope USC gets hit with years of Sanctions because of all the violations Carroll turned a blind eye to.

lol I have to laugh, but I'd be hella pissed because he looked like in a year he'd already gotten things headed in the right direction, and it seemed at least from this season it was only a matter of time before he had them beating Florida and Bama.

Gruden wants nothing to do with the college game IMO, if he did he would have taken the Notre Dame job. I don't think he wants to be out on the road all the time going to see recruits and such.

I did hear rumors of Will Muschamp (HCIW at Texas) and Kirby Smart (DC from Bama) could be who Rocky Top is focusing on. If you do land Kirby Smart you are getting one hell of a coach. Florida State was going after him hard to be our DC since Mickey Andrews retired and he turned it down.

Tennessee will be fine, you had a solid recruiting class last year, and this year looks good too.

P.S. Shoulda kept Fullmer around a few more years...
